I use a smart plug to automate the device and control on/off/timer/scheduling via my phone. This setup is much better than the digital Delonghi version (which is more expensive too)

We were Looking for something to replace our Dyson. the research indicated the oil heaters wear a little better when it comes to the electricity bill. We chose the analogue over digital to avoid tech issue with the screen like we did with our Dyson. The 24 hour dial is easy to use; it's essentially set and forget(unless you turn it off, then you will need to reset). While it doesn't warm our home it very comfortably warms a 20sqm room (lounge) and when doors are left open, creating a corridor to the bedroom,it easily takes the chill out of the air even on our coldest 7degree days (in an old building where every room has open vents to the outside)

This heater is exactly as described and does a fantastic job keeping the lounge and dining room cosy. It's super easy to pre-program as well. My only concern is that the little wheels are a bit flimsy and one comes off occasionally when I move it. No biggie and manageable, but fiddly with long nails.

Heater works great. Some initial smell/off gassing for a week or two but nothing our air purifier couldnt handle. Not sure what my next bill will be because this winter weve already become used to warmer temperatures haha. We bought a cheaper smaller delonghi for the other end of our apartment and this one is much better design/quality and with less offgassing I believe. Wish I bought another one of these instead.
I bought this heater because I had a similar one many years ago. I like this even more as it is an improvement on that one because It is white and the columns are covered in so it doesn't look ugly in any room. I like being able to preset it to come on and go off and I like to choose the heat level. One advantage of these types of heaters is that I have no qualms about leaving it on if I go out for a little while, whereas I would not do that with my larger gas heater. Delivery was very prompt and the price was excellent. Love Appliances Online!
This product is rubbish , it would not heat a medium size room the only way I could keep warm is to have it on hi and thermostat on 6 for 2 days before it finally heated the room to a comfort level. And even then it had to remain on high otherwise it got cold again 3x 4m Room.would not recommend at all !! so yeah good guys what a waste of $$ thanks . money is tight enough without wasting it on this crap
This heater replaced an old 2400W column heater. The Dragon 4 is a huge improvement over our old 2400W heater. We set the unit on high until the room is up to temperature and then turn it down to minimum and it holds the room at the desired temperature perfectly at a minimal cost.I recommend this column heater 100%. The Good Guys purchasing and delivery experience went smoothly.
Fantastic heater, completely silent, modern design. I've read reviews from.people who state these oil filled heaters take a long time to heat up. This is NOT the case, no there isn't instant heat like a gas heater, but it takes less than 15min to to get hot. Once the oil inside reaches the required temperature, the thermostat cuts the power until the oil cools which takes ages so it's not constantly turned on chewing up electricity. Definitely recommend.
This heater works great and is easy to use (once you get to know it). Controls are confusing to begin with, but are easy to use once you figure it out. Well worth spending the money on a nice, powerful heater rather than a smaller, weaker one. Heats up a bedroom quickly and keeps a consistent temp all night. Has been perfect for my babies bedroom through Winter.
This oil heater certainly has done the job I wanted it to do when it was bought. I needed a heater that would keep the main living space a nice temperature overnight through the cold winter months for my childrens comfort and cold morning. While the mornings were a lovely temperature and the timer worked a charm our electric bill has doubled in the 3 months we have had the heater. I have now packed it up and it is not used to the expense.
