These plates turned out to be better than I’d expected. Made from very sturdy stoneware they are no lightweights, and will stand up to everyday use comfortably. I must say I hadn’t expected 4 slightly different shades of speckled blue, ranging from dark blue to almost chalk white. It was a pleasant surprise as I’d expected them all to be the same colour! The raised lip is especially good for runny dishes, as it keeps sauces and gravies firmly on the plate. All are of a decent size and have a nice smooth glaze. Very pleased!!

I love these new plates. They are thick and beautifully made. I ordered a mixture of the blue and the grey studio sets . They look so nice and are a wonderful size. These are sturdy feeling, but very stylish. No breakage with shipping. They were packaged so well by the manufacturer. I highly recommend this set.

Compliments our rich colourful palate of meal. For our 15th anniversary, my husband and I began collecting a mix-n-match of studio blue and studio grey tableware. We just add a couple more pieces until we have a complete set!

Beautiful plates and sturdy.Loved that the set has different colours which makes it more interesting. Brought them to match new kitchen colours.Using as a side plate and maybe on the small side.Four star as feels expensive for a set of four small plates.
These dishes are not only beautiful but very well made. The dishes are sturdy and the colors are rich. The variety of blues and grays are classy and blend well with some of my other dinnerware. I love them. Purchased the bowls also.
We received the set of bowls (bowls only, not full studio dinnerware set) for our wedding in October. We don't use these bowls for anything except food and we do the normal things to them; hand wash, dishwasher. I found a chip in the bowl yesterday. I was planning to buy the entire set, the one this review is supposed to be listed for, but I can't justify the price if the quality isn't going to hold. I'll need to see if we can exchange the one bowl for a new one. Disappointed, as the set is really beautiful and I thought it would last.
Nice quality. Heavy dinner plate. I sure hope I do not chip !!!Great size. I hand wash. They can go in freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Very happy with purchase and I like I can have a different color plate to choose from. Macy's shipped fast. I did have a issue but as always Macy's made it right. Very pleased.
We have these dinner plates but needed a couple extra for Christmas guests. The plates arrived on time but it's a big but, they were a completely different colour to our other plates. They did not match at all. We had no choice but to keep them as we had no time to re-order. They looked like seconds because the issue seemed to be with the glaze rather than the design. All the other items we received matched perfectly. Maybe we were just unlucky, but it's poor form that these items were sold as acceptable quality.
I'm in love with these dinner plates! My meals look so pretty on them. I use these plates every day and for entertaining. My guests always comment on how beautiful and substantial the plates are. I love the coupe style, for both appearance and functionality. The quality of these plates is exceptional. One day, when putting a plate back in the cupboard, I accidentally hit another plate and NO damage to either plate. Of course not! They're Denby! I honestly can't say enough about the excellent quality and beauty of Denby dishes and, in particular, this gorgeous Studio Blue collection. I'm looking forward to adding more pieces to my collection! Thank you, Denby!
Love them! Was wary of buying these due to reviews saying they don't fit in dishwashers but they fit in mine ok - not as snug as plates without the lip but I can live with it as they are so nice. Used Tesco Clubcard vouchers which was a great way to start my collection. Now to buy a few other items........!!
