It is a good system for starters but you know it is a lower power output secondly it's automatic everything you really have no control over what's going on and that really takes away the experience also there's really no remote control support for it so you have to get up and change it manually whatever you have

Great sound sound for the money. I bought this to replace existing one that went bad.
This is Denon's bread and butter 5.1 basic receiver. The setup is easy to use and the menu options have the basic speaker configurations. It lacks some of the bells and whistles that the high end models have but most people dont need them anyway. This AVR handles the modern Blu Ray sound codecs but does not handle 4K. Sound quality is excellent and overall a very good AVR for the price.
Just what I was looking for. Have a new home office with a few media sources and this was the perfect solve.
I am very happy with the Denon Surround Sound that I received.........works great!!
