OK to start off I have always been a yamaha av receiver user for over 30 years. The denon x1700h was easy to set up the mic was very accurate and sound quality was way better than expected. You would be hard pressed to find a better receiver at this price point. Just two little niggles changing to 4ohm speakers you will have to download the manual to change it from 8ohms to 6 or 4 ohms (but still easy to do) and it would be nice to be able to add a power amplifier. But overall a great av receiver fantastic sound and more than enough power 5 stars

I used to own an 8-yr old Yamaha AV 7.1 receiver and I thought it was all good. But when I decided to purchase this Denon X1700H, it has really changed the way I hear sounds especially when paired with my Quad bookshelves and a JBL subwoofer. The sound clarity and the power it gives the speaker is unbelievably good at its price point. Not to mention the 4K and 8K specs and Wifi & bluetooth connectivity which missed very much. The Audyssey set up has also made my life easier setting up the sounds.CHT Solutions and Scott has been very prompt to respond and ship the items. I will never hesitate to buy from them again.
