I'm blown away by the speakers on the Denon DJ SC LIVE 4, and the controller itself is a great controller the 4 deck mixing feature is fantastic especially for the price.The M-Audio BX8 D3 monitors sound brilliant, they are very loud, with first class sound quality.I definitely recommend both products.

I use this product for private parties and at clubs. I mostly use it with my own private library and use Serato, but you can also use the Wi-Fi to access cloud resources such at beatsource and Amazon (the only deck that can do this)!

Sorry I didn't contact you before because I couldn't get the controller until the 1st of february because of border taxes and economic matters. It is absolutely fantastic and I am having a more than great time with it. In my opinion, it is a spectacular machine which offers infinite possibilities to be creative. Furthermore, it has WiFi, so the fact that I don't need to connect an external USB device to mix the music I want makes it double incredible. Thank you so much for the delibery and have a nice day.

Did Not Work Properly Had To Send It Back

I purchased the Denon SC Live 4. Channel 1 did not work. Channels 2, 3, and 4 were fine. Contacted Denon and they had me send in a video highlighting the problem. It seems like a manufacturers issue. They sent me a shipping label to send the item to them for repair. Hope I get new one

Great speakers! A bit confusing to understand.

Nice standalone mixer overall. This is definitely designed for the studio and the club. Not really designed for a mobile wedding DJ like me. I only use USB's and it identified it immediately. Moving and bouncing tracks to the 4 decks were confusing (the SC live 2 would've been less confusing, but it doesn't have the bpm counter on the platters). Syncing tracks to the bpm is a little tricky as well. Wish it had a digital counter and an easier fader knob to match the bpm's faster and precisely as the fader slider is hard to exactly match. The wi-fi connection was hard to connect and dropped intermittently. I never saw the Amazon Music Unlimited feature on the list of streaming services. Most bang for the buck when it comes to DJ systems.

Got this as a replacement to my ancient Pioneer XDJ-AERO. This one beats it hands down in terms of build quality, features, & ease of use. Used for live performances & for recording. The only complaint I have about it is that the pads are fairly difficult to push.

The issues I had with this unit: It was difficult moving the tracks to the different decks- One thing that was confusing is that on the left side, you have deck 1 and 3- the left side has 2 and 4. Wish it was 1 and 2 left and 3 and 4 right side. The wireless dropped my wifi signal a few times and I never saw the amazon music unlimited streaming service selection. The aux also had no cue function. So, if I'm playing a guest's requests from my cell phone, it's no way to preview it for quality except to hold the phone to my ear. Who wants to do that with a $1100 controller in front of you? Plus, with 4 tracks, why isn't it a dedicated track for the aux input to mix, cue and add effects? With this price tag, I expected it to be an advanced and easy to use controller with better instructions on how to use it. I will just stick to the user friendly Numark products that I'm accustomed to and stick with their brands on standalone controllers. On the upside, it's a beautiful controller with great speakers and great loop and function pads.

Solid... with one (easily-fixable) Design Flaw

As I've come to expect with DenonDJ controllers (this being my third), the layout and build quality are top-notch, with one exception: placing the USB slots under the screen on the back of the unit makes them practically inaccessible while throwing down a set! I added two short (5") USB extensions and mounted their ports at the top pf the touchscreen, which seems to be a suitable solve. BONUS: the built-in speakers! While they're nowhere near punchy enough to rely on as gig monitors, they're actually perfect for prepping mixes - a really nice touch.
