So far so good. Nice features and the effects are very good. Especially the filter effects. In my opinion, they are better implemented than on Pioneer Nexus 900 mixer. Being on separate knobs is a nice touch. Essential with the Prime Media players.

The Denon X1850 has not disappointed. Effects are on point. Faders are very responsive and sound quality is exceptional! Whether it be analog or digital it has all your options covered. Use with Denon decks and let the link do everything for you!

From built quality to features the Denon X1850 is totally Amazing. The feel of the faders and all the knobs are so premium. And the whole mixer overall is built like a tank and the price point is so right on.So happy with my purchase!!

Everything is firm, and coming from a pioneer s11, while a great mixer, feels like a toy compared to the metal build on the 1850. I’m loving the fx options, and very much like the digital audio inputs that I’m using instead of rca on my Denon sc6000, lc6000 and even my 3700 cdjs. My only dislike is the plugs on top for the data cable, headphone and microphone jacks. However that’s fairly common in other models. Best 4 channel mixer I’ve ever owned
This would be amazingly good value but for the lack of MIDI control. Only sending a clock out seems very limited by todays standards, especially as the DN-X1600 had really great MIDI. But like the 1600 before it, it's a rework of the Pioneer DJM750/850MK 2 for a little less money, and that lost it's MIDI so Pioneer could flog their DDJXP2 controller so that makes some kind of sense.Otherwise it's really one of the best mixers I've ever used. Smooth , super solid and yet crazy functional. You feel at home and in control immediately.Oh yeah and I do really miss the input matrix from the DN-X1600, it was so useful to be able to send any input anywhere without having to repatch, or even mult an input to 1 or 2 other channels with different EQ or FX.Oh well, still ... MoreThis would be amazingly good value but for the lack of MIDI control. Migrating from rekordbox djm9000nxs2 mixer to denon x1850 was easy denon saw all of my rekordbox music files and exported them into engine prime ,as well as the serato pro & the virtual dj, maybe rekordbox support will come this yr. who knows? this denon x1850 mixer is way ahead of it's time compared to rekordbox mixers (I ve had 2 of them). the denon x1850 mixer is more for the advanced user, and it's fun to take for a audio spin on it. overall, I d say it's a nice mixer.
I'm a bedroom dj and love this mixer. I am not rich, I purchase gear and always plan to have it for many years . I'm still learning/finding new techniques. It has alot of basic yet essential fx that really make things easy. I have yet to fully explore this mixer, but that's ok and education is always part I'd the fun! Certainly a step up from my still in the closet, Denon DN-X1600 . This mixer is also less expensive , yet so far seemingly rock solid . Like everything it depends how you are using it, but certainly treat yourself, don't cheat yourself.
It's just a hobby for me to do I've always love mixing music and having the joy and appreciation of hearing and interacting with the tech stuff. Not wanting to do this as a livelihood but just enjoying the craft. This mixer was an upgrade from a DJM 500 pioneer mixer so u know it's been a minute. And to add that this hobby is not cheap , DJ equipment is not cheap. But this mixer I think is what Ive always though of getting and the versatility that it offers is more than I expected. Top of the line unit from my prospective. Hats off to Denon for being innovative with this unit Im impress . It's a blessing one of zillions that The Lord Jesus have let me experience Amen.
Oh and the customer service that I've received from the San Ash family employee that I think Damon ? at the Charlotte location. I think he went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed to get going. I really appreciate the time he took to show me and answer any questions that I have even after I left the store. Great Job. I'll be coming back just for that reason alone.
Really nice mixer. I cut & scratch a lot as well as doing long mixed sets. This mixer ticks all the boxes so far.The effects are fantastic.I was a little disappointed to find out Serato had to be paid for at £80 to work with the mixer even if you already have the program... a license for this mixer supposedly :/From a hardware point of view though I cannot fault it.Customer service & delivery from Djkit.com was exceptional.
