Its texture is not heavy and it slips with the hair. I often apply it twice monthly and my hair benefits from it. It refreshes my hair. Its size is not big so if you have long or thick hair you may suffer from this point.

Oh, I love this! I even took a photo. I love deep conditioning, and will try to do the whole 30 minute route and does it make a difference? For sure! I love soft and thick hair. My hair is as thick and long as it's ever been, but it is color treated these days and while not everyone can tell the difference, I can. One of the things they don't tell you about going gray is that the texture of your hair completely changes. It becomes dry thin and unruly. When I colored it at least it was coated by the coloring but now that it's gray I thought I would never get my old texture back. I honestly love this stuff. I have very thick hair that gets knotty so easily and have such a hard time finding products that dont bother my allergies or skin. This deep conditioner fixes all that. Its not harsh at all and leaves my hair so soft and nice. The main reason i brought it was bc there was no fragrance/perfume in it. But dont worry, the natural ingredients still gives it a nice light smell. I have very thick hair with oliy roots and it doesnt leave any build up or make it worse so thats another plus. I have type 4 hair and was looking for a protein mask because I didn't want to cut my ends. I ended up cutting my ends, of which this does a great job or repairing any possible nicks at my fresh ends, but I used this twice before doing so and saw great results. I hate to bring down the 5 star rating this product has, but it was not a 5 star product for me. The formula has a thick consistency, but you can just feel how drying it is. It wasn't really easy to apply through my hair. It makes my hair feel straw-like as I'm running it through my hair. Once my hair dries, my hair just feels okay. It doesn't really feel moisturized. I'm almost done with it. I will not repurchase. I really wanted to like it as I do love the Derma E brand.
