I am already a big fan of Dermalogica their products. I think the price point being around $40 is reasonable considering you get 8.4oz and because this wash only requires a small amount to get a nice thorough cleanse it will make the product last for quite some time. I used this during my night routine after using the Dermalogica PreCleanse to allow the Clearing Skin Wash to be applied to a fresh base so it could really penetrate into my pores. I really like the gentle lather this created the menthol fragrance didn’t bother me, however, if you’re someone who is very sensitive to fragrances or may have an underlying lung condition...you may want to keep this in mind regarding the scent. Overall, this agreed with my skin as I’ve acclimated my skin overtime to be able to handle AHA’s BHA’s so I didn’t experience any negative side effects after using. I did notice a large difference with oil production specifically at my T-zone thankfully it did not cause that over drying feeling like some acne cleansers tend to do, especially along my cheeks. AMAZING!

I've struggled with adult acne for years now. I began the Dermalogica routine and have been using it for about 6 months now. I have seen a HUGE improvement on my skin. I still breakout when it's that time of the month but not as bad as before. I use this stuff 1-2 times every single day. I start with the cleanser, then the microfoliant. After, I use the clearing serum followed by the spot fader(when needed). It's on the pricier side when putting them all together and paying at the till, but it lasts forever and it's been working for me! I've tried everything and anything you could imagine, so the dollars wasted on other product not working vs investing in a product that works. I'm not complaining. Bottle Design Bad

Hello, I just want to say I got a 16.9 oz bottle and the product leaks out the side. The formula is doing great for me and I don't have a problem with it, it's just the bottle design. When you use it, the product gets in between the white and grey parts of the lid and leaks down the side of the bottle. A lot of product is getting wasted because it dries out. I had to transfer the product to a different bottle (that bottle being a La Roche Posay moisturizer bottle that was empty). In the future, I will only have to buy smaller bottles because the bigger bottle wastes products. But I saw that this bottle design is with your other products too and they probably have the same issue.

Doesn't work

I've been using this for about 5 years now and I love that it doesn't cause me to have hives or dry skin or anything wrong. So I'm giving it 2 stars. But this product is very expensive and NEVER fully rid me of acne or adequately prevented/treated breakouts. I'm just gonna assume because it ONLY has .5%salicylic acid in it. But even though this was gentle in my skin that is pretty reactive to products, it never did as advertised. I finally switched to Murad (1.5% salicylic acid) and I feel breakouts diffuse after watching. Happy to finally be done with dermalogica. Didn't ruin my face, but didn't do anything to help.

Great for acne!

I'm now on my second bottle! That's how much i love this stuff. I had very oily, very breakout prone, very acne prone skin, and since i started using this wash everything about my skin has changed. I do breakout every now and then if my diet is lacking or if my period is near but using the cleanser helps the breakouts dry out impressively fast, and pimples that used to take WEEKS to disappear now only takes 1-2 days max! I use this along with the Microfoliant which has also helped with resurfacing and making acne scars lighter. I rave about this product to anyone with acne, it is definitely a game changer. After endless struggle to trust a brand and pour so much money into, this brand is always safe accountable and trusting. I have very oily skin, Sometimes it dries up around my forehead and my cheeks which rarely happens, but mainly just overall oily. I love this stuff for my skin. I buy the full size, and it is shared between my husband and I and it lasts us a good two months! You don't need much, you can use it morning and night and it doesn't smell heavily, It contains a lot of good ingredients that won't upset your natural skin barrier so you don't have to worry about it causing you to get worse with your skin conditions ect. I know it's a little pricey, but given, it's ingredients, and how effective it is, it is worth the purchase for sure. The consistency is very Jelly, so if your like me, with oily skin, it's nice to work into your face, with a cool refreshed clean feeling overall. I love it!

The BEST for adult acne

I have used Dermalogica clearing skin wash for eight years after being introduced by a Skin Therapist. I'm in my 30s now and still have combination skin with the occasional stress and hormonal acne (on my forehead and chin). Here and there I tried other more budget-friendly brands but nothing came close to 1) preventing breakouts and 2) treating existing breakouts like Dermalogica clearing skin wash. The formula doesn't feel harsh and doesn't dry out my skin like so many other cleansers. In addition to the cleanser, I use the sebum clearing mask as needed and Active Moist as my day and night moisturizer. I highly recommend the Dermalogica clearing line to anyone with adult acne.
