This advanced serum is the new night time version of the popular vitamin c serum from the brand. Along with an ultra stable form of vitamin C, it has vitamin D to soothe and hydrate the skin. Used at night, you wake up with brighter and plumper skin. This works well to keep my melasma in check and fade any dark spots. I love how rich and nourishing this serum is. It really pampers the skin and has a bright, crisp citrus scent. I was gifted this by the brand for review.

My review of the Biolumin-C Serum is based upon samples I received from Dermalogica. Years ago, I worked as a licensed aesthetician, so I absolutely love a quality serum with Vitamin C! This particular product is one that I would purchase in the future. Recommended for all skin types, the serum targets fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, loss of firmness and elasticity as well as uneven texture. I use the product at night, and then apply my moisturizer. The serum has a pleasant light citrus scent. Although I am utilizing samples, I feel like my skin is noticeably brighter. So, I would love to experience the long term benefits of a bottle of the product!!

I bought this as a gift set at Ulta for $49. It gives travel sizes of the serum, cleanser, and vitamin c lotion. While applying the serum, it feels tacky and takes a while not to. I applied the lotion after a few minutes and it felt great but 10 mins later my face still felt sticky. I just exfoliated it so there wasn’t much dry skin as normal but I feel that since the lotion doesn’t sink in good that it would just cause my combo skin to peel off with makeup applications. Back to the serum though, I mean why fill the container 1/2 way for something that is expensive?!? This makes me mad because $50 is a lot of money for 10 uses maximum. It really does brighten and reduce the appearance and signs of aging! I didn't realize the miracles this product was creating until I ran out and didn't replace it right away. I have used this product daily for a couple of years now, ran out recently and just figured I'd restock after using up another recommended vitamin c serum I'd received. Big mistake! After a week or so I looked tired, skin looked dull too, but not sure why. Another week or so later and I can see lines on my face that weren't there before. I was not looking like myself and wasn't sure why then realized only thing that changed is that I ran out of this product and hadn't replaced it. AM compliment

Vitamin C is a must for me. It is the first step in my morning skincare routine for all the benefits plus the brightening effects. I apply this vitamin C serum directly to my face from the drop dispenser initially it has a unique cooling sensation (which I like), pressing in this traditional lightweight serum for an instant glow from within (I like my glow to come from my skincare products) leaving behind a slight tackiness that layers well with all other products, and even feels like it firms my skin. I have not experienced any irritation - but I have a tolerance to actives. No noticeable difference in my stubborn hyperpigmentation.

Irritation in the eyes and pimples on nose and other parts of the face

Guys, beware of the products offered by Demalogica. I have ordered 4 products in which only the cleanser is good. The Biolumin serum, Ultracalming cleanser, Dynamic skin recovery and Super rich repair. Only the ultracalming cleanser is good. Rest all the products are causing irritation in the eyes and a burning sensation on the face. I have already spent around INR 22k and now regretting my decision to go with Dermalogica. I hope the company will read this review and help me getting my money back. Very dissapointing.

Lovely serum

I bought this on a whim after a skin care specialist recommended vitamin C as a must for anti aging so I looked at LovelySkin first. This was on a great sale so I took a chance and bought the big size. So glad I did. This serum is lovely! No pun intended, lol. It soaks right into your skin with no sticky after effects. Really love that! I will definitely buy again after I finish this bottle. Thank you LovelySkin for great sales to make high end products affordable for us!! I highly recommend this serum!

Nice serum

I like to texture and feel of this serum a lot. It absorbs well and has no strong scent (a huge plus for me). My issue is with Dermalogica. I called them directly and asked what the strength of vitamin C is and was told they are "not required by the FDA to disclose that information" so they would not be telling me. Quite abruptly. I just think that's weird because I wasn't asking for proprietary formula information or anything, and it's information that other companies willingly disclose right on their labels. So, while I like this product, I will not be repurchasing it or any other from them.

Perfection!

I have complicated skin - scar tissue from cystic acne in my younger years (almost entirely gone now because of Dermalogica's Daily Superfoliant, so definitely check that out), rosacea, and I turned 40 last year, so I also want something to focus on aging. Products that contain harsh chemicals, even helpful ones, can irritate my rosacea. Other products that don't irritate it don't feel as effective for anti-aging purposes. This serum is the perfect balance. I can feel that the ingredients are stronger than in products I have used in the past, but it doesn't cause any redness or irritation. I can actually feel a slight tingling in my skin when I dispense it over my face. I also like that a little bit of product goes a long way. 3 drops covers my full face.

love but unsure

so I picked this up after going through several bottles of the LuminC moisturizer, which I loveeed for that lightweight hydration Dermalogica does, plus I noticed brightening. I love the texture and smell of this, *but* after a few bottles I haven't noticed any difference in my skin's brightness or texture. I swapped out for the classic SC Vit C serum, but it's stinky and oily, and doesn't play well under makeup so I now reach for this in the mornings again 🫠 it makes my dry skin look and feel gorgeously hydrated but I'm not sure if it is doing much beyond that, for $100.also wish they would ditch dropper bottles for airless pumps
