This product was gifted by Dermalogica Sampling. I was lucky enough to get to try out the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. It's a rice based powder exfoliant that includes Papaya Enzymes, Salicylic Acid, and Phytic Acid for smoothing and brightening. I really like this exfoliant. You put some water in your hand then dump some of the powder exfoliant into it and make a thick creamy paste. Apply it to the face in a circular fashion and massage gently for 1 minute. Gentle, effective exfoliation…

I recently received a sample complimentary from Dermalogica Sampling of their Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator. It produces a creamy foam with a mild, fresh scent. The beads in it are very gentle, and I’ve gotten no scrapes or scratches at all. Per the directions, I also tested leaving it on an extra minute for additional brightening, and though the handful of times I tried it wasn’t enough to make a huge difference, I can report I had zero irritation.The chemical exfoliation is gentle, as well, and while I don’t see any extreme or dramatic results as far as brightening, my skin is noticeably softer and smoother after a week of use. There formulas are free of artificial colors and fragrances, mineral oil, lanolin, S.D. alcohol, parabens and microplastics. All there paper and cartons products are FSC certified, to be sustainable for forests.Price: For a full size of the daily microfoliant it goes for 64 dollars and is 2.6 oz, they do have a mini for 16 dollars and is 0.45 oz. For this one you have to mix it with water to make it into a paste. I had to extra gentle opening the package because it I didn’t i knew the dust will go everywhere.Results: when I was down washing my face it did make my skin feel soft and I can see a little bit of dry skin flaking off but it didn’t give me no irritation. For me this exfoliate is gentle and didn’t make my skin hurt. Not For Everyday...

I received the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant complimentary from Dermalogica Sampling in exchange for my honest review. I want to say that I love this product but I also feel I must warn those with sensitive or finicky skin! Let me tell you what happened during my testing of the microfoliant. First (of course), I did a patch test and had absolutely no problem. On day two, I used the microfoliant and y'all my face had absolutely never felt smoother or softer (not even after dermaplaning)! I have to say that I am not impressed at all by this Dermalogica Microfoliant, and I would not purchase the full size for a variety of reasons. 1.) It is very messy. You lose a lot of product just by pouring granules in your hands, and rubbing palms together, which means that you are literally putting money down the drain. 2.) It's so gentle that I frankly do not think there are any results as compared to other similar exfoliating products in this price range. If you are going to spend this much, why not get a product that gives you visible results after a couple of uses instead of this? 3.) I do not think it is that revolutionary or earth friendly that this is in granule form instead of a liquid. Dermalogica is a must have in my bathroom for my combination, acne prone skin! I was gifted by Dermalogica, a small supply of microfoliant to try, for my honest feedback. Little do they know, I have a stock supply of this beautiful exfoliating rice cleanser already! I use the glycolic wash and Microfoliant daily, in the shower works best for me. The microfoliant is such a gentle yet effective scrub. I was skeptical about using it daily or using a scrub in general, but it truly is gentle enough for daily use. It literally polishes my skin so that my serums and other products settle into my skin faster and easier than if I hadn't exfoliated that. It doubles as a lovely cleanser as it bubbles up into a foam but is NOT DRYING.
