The Dermaveen daily Nourish oatmeal conditioner lives up to the name of being a daily product and I believe this conditioner and shampoo duo would be suitable to many households. The product comes in a convenient pump bottle and comes in 3 different sizes which is great if you have a large family or want to reduce your packaging wastage. The consistency of the conditioner itself I would say is less thick in comparison to your average conditioner. I personally prefer a thicker conditioner, as I have blonde bleached hair and require a lot of moisture. I noticed After 2/3 washes that my hair was feeling dry and frizzy and was in desperate need of a moisture treatment. My husband on the other hand loved how light and easy to use this conditioner was. I was fortunate to be accepted as apart of the Trial Team for the Dermaveen Nourish Conditioner - thank you Beautyheaven. I am an avid user of the body care range from this brand, having sensitive, dry skin from my neck down that’s also prone to itchiness. I would always look at the hair care products whilst repurchasing body products but was hesitant in trying out a hair care product that was fragrance free as it just simply seems odd as were so used to having scented hair care. But I 100% disagree with fragranced skin and cosmetic products so I was so intrigued when asked to participate in this trial. The Conditioner has a slightly thicker consistency than the shampoo from this range but it has a lighter texture than the typical Conditioners out on the market. ... MoreI was fortunate to be accepted as apart of the Trial Team for the Dermaveen Nourish Conditioner - thank you Beautyheaven. Having fine hair, I enjoy a lighter feeling Conditioner as I use a hair oil afterwards for extra smoothness afterwards. I had recently been dealing with an irritated scalp and dandruff so I felt that using this fragrance free product in conjunction with the shampoo added to the results of having a much less irritated scalp whilst de tangling my ends well.Overall, I would definitely be repurchasing this product once I run out as my scalp has improved significantly and this compliments the shampoo by not using fragranced products that serve no purpose as this works just as well, just avoiding any potential to irritate our skin. I would recommend this product.

Gentle, nourishing, hydrating
24 July 2023

I suffer from itchy and flaky scalp. I've tried to manage this condition with so many different shampoos, and conditioners, I was starting to think that there was no relief in sight. I saw an online ad for Dermaveen daily nourish oatmeal shampoo and conditioner, it looked like just the thing I was looking for. I've been using this shampoo and conditioner for a couple of weeks now, and it is just perfect for my scalp and hair needs. My scalp has stopped itching and flaking. My hair feels clean, hydrated and nourished. Combined with the Dermaveen shampoo from the same range, my scalp and hair are the happiest they have been for a long time.

Good basic, gentle conditioner
1 May 2019

I used with conditioner immediately after the Oatmeal Shampoo, which was mild and soothing but did leave my hair feeling a little dry. The conditioner comes in a handy pump bottle and I use about two good pumps for my shoulder length hair. I do have frizzy, curly hair and this conditioner is probably a bit too mild and not nourishing enough for my hair. There is no added fragrance so it doesn't irritate those with sensitive skin or scalps. This conditioner is more of a basic everyday product for anyone who just wants a gentle formula without the added colours or fragrances. It doesn't really provide a great deal of moisture to my hair and can leave it feeling a bit frizzy and dry. The texture isn't too thick and I leave it on for about 5 mins and it rinses away ... MoreI used with conditioner immediately after the Oatmeal Shampoo, which was mild and soothing but did leave my hair feeling a little dry. Hair was harder to manage
29 April 2019

This conditioner was sent to me in a litre bottle making it great value. The conditioner like the shampoo did not have much of a scent if any. The conditioner came out of the bottle a white colour. I liked that it was not too thick which made it easy to pump out of the bottle. I applied the conditioner to my ends/mid lengths of my hair and I left it in for 2-3 minutes. The process of using the shampoo and conditioner together was quite time consuming as you had to leave each in for 2-3 minutes. Probably not the best duo to use if you are busy or under time constraints.I found the conditioner kind of stuck to my hair a bit and was a bit challenging to wash out compared to the shampoo. Once I combed through all the knots, my hair was soft and bouncy. I would not say this conditioner suits my lifestyle as you have to leave the conditioner and shampoo. Also my hair was not as manageable as usual after drying as it had more knots than usual.

Never Had So Much Trouble Brushing My Hair
5 July 2022

This conditioner is useless in regards to providing 'lubrication' for post conditioning brushing of my hair. I find even the slightest tangle requires me to use my hands to undo. Past conditioners that I have made it far easier to brush my hair afterwards. This conditioner provides no benefit over using no conditioner at all. I find I am constantly pulling hairs out because my hair has not been conditioned at all. Absolutely useless product, and you have to use enormous amounts in the hope it might actually work, but it doesn't. Extremely disappointed in my purchase. Overpriced for such a poor quality product. Thoroughly NOT recommended.

Honestly, I am just using it because it is there and while it isn't solving my hair problems, it isn't causing any either. So I will dutifully go through the bottle because I really hate wasting products.

Soothing for the scalp

I was very pleased to receive my trial Dermaveen Oatmeal Conditioner. I couldn't believe my luck to find that I'd received a huge one litre pump bottle of it!!The design of the conditioner bottle is very minimalist, with a predominantly white and green bottom and a green pump. It is attractive, but subtle and earthy, in keeping with its natural credentials. To be honest, a 1L bottle is actually a bit too big for my bathroom, so I've had to leave the bottle outside the shower, which is a bit inconvenient. A 500 or even 750mL bottle would be preferable for me, with our small shower cubicle.I really like that this conditioner is made from natural oatmeal. This means that it's good for my sensitive scalp, and I also feel comfortable using it on my toddler and knowing that she won't get soap in her eyes. It is largely fragrance free too, as well as being free from other nasties like parabens and alcohol.I generally have flaky, sensitive scalp, particularly at this time of year when the weather is getting colder. This oatmeal conditioner and its accompanying shampoo really soothe my scalp, and my scalp has not been itchy since using them. It is still a bit flaky, but doesn't feel as irritated.Unfortunately, I don't feel as though this conditioner is as nourishing or hydrating as the conditioners I ordinarily use, so my hair has felt and looked a bit brittle, with lots of fly aways, since using it. It is mainly for this reason that I don't think I'd buy this conditioner again. I loved the effect on my scalp, but not on my hair.

DermaVeen Oatmeal Conditioner for Dry, Flaky or Sensitive Scalps 1L - I absolutely love this conditioner, and the matching shampoo. This conditioner doesn't irritate my scalp at all, and I can even work it through to my roots occasionally and it won't make my scalp greasy or weigh down my hair. No real smell, which is great for me. Pump is easy to use. Formula is consistent. Doesn't cause body acne, either.
