Having received my Desky Desk in two instalments, I began assembling on a Saturday. The youtube video was very detailed and in a logical order. I made a few mistakes of my own (plugging and unplugging the power ports - unplugging was a bit challenging) which slowed down the process, but I think overall it would have taken me about 45 minutes (including the cable channel).This is one sturdy desk! Main reason for the decision was the cable management as I spend a lot of time on my desk for working, studying and gaming.It took around 6 Working days to arrive I live in Metro Area Melbourne just to give a rought idea, as their warehouse is based in QLD. This standing desk is a game-changer! The setup was a breeze, and the quality is outstanding. I love how easily I can switch between sitting and standing, which has really helped with my back pain. Not to mention, it's given me a burst of energy and made me more productive. The design is sleek and modern, and it fits perfectly in my home office. Super easy to put together and solid as a rock. Quiet in operation, the Desky Dual is worth it!The ability to preset heights in the memory makes the shift from a chair to walking pad and back again, super easy.After struggling with back issues after a lifetime of sitting at a desk, and staring down decades ahead of the same, the transition to a 'walking desk' setup is the game changer I needed.(1200mm wide, Jarrah Legno finish, with black legs)
Overall build quality and finish is very solid. I was impressed with the powder coated finish in black.Functionality is good, and I would recommend however few items that could of been improved which was either frustrating/dangerous during the set up.1) The 1200 wide desk requires the transformer to be housed in a different location to the install video. This is hidden in the instructions and on the scalloped desk, the pre-drilled holes were not in a useable position if using the integrated cable tray, I had to drill my own holes2) Due to above issue, the integrated cable tray with power board, the transformer limits where the power points can be placed without being in the way of the transformer. I accidentally hit a memory button which resulted in the desk to lower, pinning my leg to the chair and crushing my knees as it lifted it self off the ground and supported the whole weight on my knee while I punched every memory button trying to find a preset to raise it. I thought it was meant to have collision avoidance however this didn’t work., This is an extremely heavy desk and it was quite painful. It seems dangerous to have a desk come from the factory at a leg crushing height, they should really set the presets at a standard desk height to avoid this risk, I had some nasty bruising from the desk which is not the best first impression.

We have been eyeing the Desky desk for a while and have been glad ever since we decided to get one. It has been the perfect desk we had hoped for and suits our needs just perfectly. An amazing balance between quality build and ease of assembly, I can perhaps appreciate why some people might hesitate with the decision considering the price premium - let us warrant that by confirming that it is worth every bit!The size, build quality, finish, sit/stand operation is seamless and this desk is a complete package. We chose to go for the scalloped desk and have been extremely happy with the decision.
The steel legs are very solid and seem good quality. Most components were easy to put together but the holes in the wood table top did not align and I therefore needed to drill new holes (yes, the table was the correct way around). I also bought the scalloped table and the cable management system because I wanted to funnel the cords from my screens. But the design does not allow enough space between the clamp of my monitor arms and the cable management system . It is a very small space. So now I can’t centre my screens in the middle of the table without removing the cable tray. A design flaw. The cable trays are also not designed for standard power boards and I would not recommend them.
I have a positive experience so far. Colour is awesome. Functionality is working great. I frequently use the various memory settings. 1 and 4 are my favourites which is set at my suitable lowest and highest settings respectively. I also frequently use the USB C port to extend for wireless charger.
