Drawer is beautiful. Very easy to put together and install. Draw sliding is smooth but it feels very 'snug' when opening closing. I have the Desky Dual Ergo desk, which has a curve in the middle of the desk. Please take note if you buy this style of desk the under desk drawer will not be completely under the desk like with the straight edge desks. The inner corner of the desk will stick out under the curve of the desk about 2 inches. I have the 1.8m desk. It is still beautiful and functional, but I did not realise this until installation as photos I had seen were not reflective of the Dual Ergo curved edge.

I added the Desky Minimal Underdesk Drawer so I could keep my desktop clean and focused. I keep pens, paper, headphones and all loose bits and pieces in my drawer.Installation was quite easy. I pre-drilled holes into my hardwood top and easily secured it. The nice thing has some give so you can get the alignment perfectly. This is a relatively expensive add-on but it matches perfectly and I’m would have regretted not adding it.

I um-ed and ah-ed about getting the drawers because they’re not cheap, but I wanted somewhere unobtrusive to stash some documents, pens and painkillers. Overall I’m pretty happy with it, though I still think it’s quite expensive. It looks and feels good, and I really like that it’s so solid and it’s metal. On the downside, I didn’t think that I’d be bumping into it quite so regularly if sitting in my office chair in the centre of the desk. It might just be that I need to get used to having it there! It’s a little smaller than I thought it would be (do check the measurements properly). And the holes need to be drilled to fit the drawer. No biggie, but I don’t have a drill so I had to use some elbow grease and a normal screwdriver. Would have loved to be able to align ... MoreI um-ed and ah-ed about getting the drawers because they’re not cheap, but I wanted somewhere unobtrusive to stash some documents, pens and painkillers. I ordered drawers that is matching with the dark bamboo top, but somehow the drawer face had gloss finish while the table top had matt or satin finish. Which was a bit disappointing because I bought them as a set and I didn't see gloss option for the table so don't know what happened there because there is nothing to be confused. Also the drawers came without enough instruction manual, especially couldn't find the dimension for installation nor there wasn't a reference pilot hole provided underneath the desk. Lucky I'm a cabinet maker but for some people it can be a struggle, especially a lot of people are not aware that the drawer must be on when installing the drawer frame, if installed without something to refer to. Which sometimes my self forget too. Which sometimes my self forget too. I have managed to install it flush to the front edge of the top. The holes already on for the controller won't work, need to measure and drill separate hole a tat different from it. If there was just one hole to refer to, that would have been sweet!
I love my Desky desk, and got a few accessories, including this drawer. While I love that it matches the desk exactly, I'm not sure I would buy it again. It was incredibly annoying to install - there are no pre-drilled holes, unlike with the controller, so you have to make them yourself with the screws. It's also incredibly hard to do if you don't flip the desk (which is also a giant hassle) - you have to basically hold up the drawer with one hand, while trying to get the screws in the right place with the other. As for the drawer itself, I guess it's fine? It's very shallow, and can't hold that much - it also has screws that poke out slightly internally, which means that if you want to put something in there to divide it, it won't sit flush. At first I was surprised at the lack of instructions. But once I took the drawer out of the packaging I realised why. This drawer is so simple and easy to install to the desk. Or any desk for that matter. Preinstalled drawer runners are a godsend. Four screws for the drawer and 4 screws for the drawer face. Amazing. The only thing I would have preferred is that the screws for the drawer we're not hex but I can live with that, and knowing that I can change the face to anything in the future if I want to is also comforting.
I do like these drawers, They match the desk perfectly, I have one either side of an 1800 wide desk and it gives plenty of room for me underneath (and im a bigger guy). The only gripe why i give them 4 stars as that the sliders are not great, one draw actually seems to clip the underside and make a scraping noise when when open/closing, the other slides open no worries, and they do slam closed (not soft at all). The sliders themselves do seem a little cheap and they draw should open another 1inch to give yo proper full access to the drawerNote to buyers: Beware that neither draw was correctly fit to the sliders which was not obvious without looking at the sliders directly. You need to use the little lever in the tracks to pull them out, then very carefully put it ... MoreI do like these drawers, They match the desk perfectly, I have one either side of an 1800 wide desk and it gives plenty of room for me underneath (and im a bigger guy). Mostly happy with the purchase. The materials are of good quality, the wood face is also a close-enough match with my Ikea sit/stand desk. Here are some areas of improvement: Please include a drilling template to make it easy to mark holes. The drawer makes a slight noise when opening and closing, this is due to the base of the drawer rubbing against the mounting bracket. I tried some WD40, but that didn't work. It's not too bad though. Perhaps leaving 1mm of gap would've helped. The depth of the drawer could be slightly increased, so as to be able to accommodate a 12-inch scale.
I love this little drawer. I bought it immediately when I saw it available on the website to match my Pheasantwood desk. It arrived without instructions which may have been useful. The first time I installed it, I stupidly didn't realise it's meant to be gripped from the bottom, so I installed it incorrectly. As a result I ended up drilling more holes in the bottom of the desk than I was comfortable doing but I got there in the end. It looks perfect now. Hopefully Desky will start providing pre-drilled holes in their desks now to accomodate the drawer for those that want them. It wasn't the easiest of tasks. In my case the drawer wasn't available when I bought the desk so understandably there were no holes pre-drilled. Super happy with the result. Love the little ... MoreI love this little drawer. Love the little sliding tray inside, and the tracks are silky smooth when opening/closing the drawer. I've now ordered some felt lining from a third party to put on the bottom of the drawer. Would be great to see Desky offer accessories like that and/or organiser trays to put inside.
The drawer has a great design. It looks perfectly attached to the desk and the wooden front is of the same great quality of the desk. However, the mechanics are not great. It feels a bit grippy when sliding to open and close. I would expect something more refined for its price. But the most disappointing issue was with one of the supplied screws. The screws look and feel too weak for the heavy duty of getting throught the pheasantwood. When I got it thought, its head snapped and now I can't remove it to put another one in place, so the drawer is being held by 3 screws only. A solution that I could imagine would be side shifting the drawer. But it is right now in the perfect location and also, as I am not good with wood work, it took me a very long time to build ... MoreThe drawer has a great design. But it is right now in the perfect location and also, as I am not good with wood work, it took me a very long time to build confidence to mark and screw the drawer where it is, so I don't want to have to go throught all this process again. Perhaps, if the drawer had pre-drilled holes to install it, this issue wouldn't have happened.
