Fantastic Product for adding camera & lighting for video conferencing to exist ing monitor.

Does not fit my Gigabyte Monitor out of the box

My Gigabyte monitor VESA mount area has a deeper base from the monitor back cover that the provided "round lifter" was not high enough to level the shelf panel with the monitor back cover. I have to find alternative "lifter" in order to enable alignment of the shelf panel at the same level as the monitor cover.

Doesn't work with monitors with recessed VESA mounts

Make sure to check the back of your monitor, especially curved monitors - if the VESA mounting area is recessed this solution will not work without needing to purchase risers and additional screws - Desky support doesn't provide any advice or help at all in this instance and you're on your own if you find yourself in this situation. In the case of my monitor, it required an additional 4x 20mm spacer, and 4x 35-40mm M4 bolts, however that meant that you could only mount the shelf well above the monitor because in the facing backward position, the three screws connecting the shelf to the mount protrude another 5mm (why they wouldn't be mounted under the shelf or countersunk/flat head I don't know), so you'd need to add to the spacers and at that point it's looking ... MoreMake sure to check the back of your monitor, especially curved monitors - if the VESA mounting area is recessed this solution will not work without needing to purchase risers and additional screws - Desky support doesn't provide any advice or help at all in this instance and you're on your own if you find yourself in this situation. Great accessory

Very easy to install, and the perfect fit for multiple accessories. Mounts easily to VESA mount and still allows for connection to monitor arm. Well worth the purchase if you have a lot of accessories to mount on your monitor.

Great for iPhone Webcam Setup

Installed in combination with a monitor mount. Sits well. Difficult to get the shelf level without a level tool, but is a good solution for holding a camera above your screen.In combination with a phone mount, it’s a good tool for using your phone as a webcam.

Great idea, poor support for displays with recessed VESA mounts

The idea behind this produect is great but sadly for me and the 3 displays I own (BenQ EX3415R, BenQ RL2460 and Gigabyte M28U) none of them can correctly attach this item as the supplied M4 screws and stand offs are not long enough to support the recessed location of where the VESA mounts are. I'm now on the hunt for a mix of longer M4 screws and combination of washers and standoffs so I can use this product on one of my displays.

Handy accessory attachment shelf!

Easy to install - just screws in between the monitor and the arm mounting plate.It feels solid and has no trouble holding the webcam and light I have on it.The screw slots are wide enough to fit the standard 1/4-20 camera mounting screws so attaching my parts was simple.

Just what I needed for my home ofice and streaming setup

Sturdy and best place to get it in CanadaHonestly, best prices I could find these Caddy shelfs in Canada.Ordered 3 for my setup. Although do note that these are pre "drilled" for 100 x 100 vesa mounts and one of my monitors is 75 x 75No biggie though, took my trusty drill and diy'd myself some holes to mount to my monitor.Perfect for my Fill lights and webcam, makes the setup clean.Shipping was fast as well.Saved website to bookmarks, looking to pick up a drawer as well to add to setup when I get some spare cash.
