Fairly quiet and sufficient air flow. Easy to install, has extendable clips to lock it in and the plug in cord was long enough. Design appears simple and practical, would recommend against the other brands that Bunnings offers as it exactly what I wanted in an exhaust fan.

Easy to install, although the instruction could've been better by stating loose the three screws first before fitting to the ceiling. Otherwise it's pretty much plug and play.Very quiet but assuming the suction is powerful enough for a standard bathroom.

Like published battery life and wireless range, published (if even available) noise ratings are untrustworthy. I've reviewed all of the Bunnings 200mm fans using a sound meter at a consistent 14cm from the hub. Check each of those products reviews for their details.-----Good fan, with a 55db run. It has a bit of a droning noise but it is fairly pleasant and dominated by the sound of turbulent air. I like the tighter grille. Good published flow rate of 320 m3/h. Well-balanced fan, keeping this one. Quite similar to the IXL Ventflow but I prefer the Deta grille to keep insects out. Deta could make improvements to this by adding some vibration damping to the arms and rim, I used some rubber sticky pads. Another interesting improvement could be a 2-speed switch so I ... MoreLike published battery life and wireless range, published (if even available) noise ratings are untrustworthy. Spent a little extra and bought this one. A lot quieter than previous. Fuss free install. Just make sure you measure correctly as they come in different sizes.
I purchased this exhaust fan 3 weeks ago to replace a broken one.The hole in the ceiling was already cut and installation was very easy.It is much quieter than the one I replaced (when it was working) as is the larger (also Deta brand) one which was installed in our kitchen a few years ago.I would recommend this brand exhaust fan.
I've been using this for a couple of months now and it's a quiet and efficient fan. Installation was fairly simple but the cover was a little difficult to clip into place. I think there could be an improvement to the retaining tabs. Overall though, very happy with this purchase.
Basically an exact copy of the decades-old one it was replacing, so I'm guessing this is an old design that is white-labeled under a number of brands. The plastic moldings of the parts hidden inside the ceiling a notably more rough than the front grille. Quite a seam sprue on the fan blades and it looks as if the axle socket on the fan hub isn't quite perfectly straight. Testing it in on the bench, it definitely had a bit of an imbalance vibration. This is likely why some reviews call it dead-quiet and some say it is noisy. Those with a quiet one just lucked out and got a balanced one.All up, myeah, it's fine. It works and probably will do so for another decade, but don't expect superior quality. A solid 3 stars.Edit: Apparently you aren't allowed to mention ... MoreBasically an exact copy of the decades-old one it was replacing, so I'm guessing this is an old design that is white-labeled under a number of brands. The plastic moldings of the parts hidden inside the ceiling a notably more rough than the front grille. Bunnings, you know you are a shop, right?
Bought another brand initially which had a design fault. A notch had been produced on the back frame so that the power cord could clip in. This thin point had broken before use and a visit back to Bunnings revealed 6 out of 8 broken in the boxes. Replaced with this fan which is well designed and does a great job. Has been working well for 3 years and counting.
Needed to replace my WC fan which finally gave up after many years. bought this version as replacement. Could immediately see the difference in build quality (thinner plastic, plastic motor armature cap, yuk) Thrumms away so much i thought we had a choppa over the house! positive is it does move a lot of air, is a ball bearing type, cheapish and you are reminded to turn the sukka off by the the annoying tune it plays!
After looking at the reviews on Bunnings for all the exhaust fans, I grabbed one. Little did I know I grabbed a 250mm when I only required a 200mm - back I went. I grabbed this one. Taking it out of the box it felt cheap. I tried it on the ground and thought the other reviewers must have had duds, because it was VERY quiet. Extremely easy to install and quiet operation. What was I stressing about. I don't think I will read reviews anymore. But it was a GOOD design to install - better than I have used in the past and very easy.
