These are OK if you want to temporarily fit smaller downlights into holes you plan on making smaller eventually... but as a permanent fixture, these plates will (in my opinion) substantially detract from the styling of the DETA downlights.

Bought this product to replace old downlights with IP65 Deta LED downlights. 92mm cut out cover plates don’t allow the 92mm downlights to fit. Very poor quality control Deta. Took several hours of grinding to make product work.Maybe Bunnings should use more Oz made products instead of imported.

Easy to use to cover old halgen downlight cutout but the powdercoat white is a shade blue compared to celing white so you might need to spray paint it a closer match before install

I replaced my 6" downlights with the Deta 92mm lights and needed the conversion plates to save having to plaster the ceilings. They look good and you wouldn't know they are covering a larger hole.
We didn't use these in the end but they did appear to be ideal for the situation. We found that we could use the original external inserts so it could be worth checking that out before buying these.
Makes the Downlights look awesome as the previous holes were 20mm bigger and roughly cut out certainly saved lots of work Looks so professional
easy to install saves replastering after the 150mm old halogen down lights removed and the lights are awesome
