I initially bought it for its antiseptic purposes for wounds but now I use it in my bathroom cleaning. I find it leaves everything clean and sanitized, and one surprising plus was that it leaves my sink, faucets and tub literally sparkling. I enjoy the pine smell and it makes me feel like after cleaning, the surface is clean and disinfected. There isn't alot of advertising in Canada about Dettol for cleaning purposes and I wish there was as sometimes I have difficulty finding it in the stores.

I read it can also be used for cuts, but I haven’t tried it for that yet. Its got an intense pine-antiseptic smell. My husband commented that our house smelled like a Doctor’s office after I cleaned (truthfully, I didn’t mind the smell). It’s hard to find in Canada (Walmart is the only place I’ve found it) it’s only available in the original scent. I wish I could find some other scents to try. I do love that I can mix a batch of it in a spray bottle it doesn’t lose effectiveness, like bleach does after being mixed with water. This is my go to for ANYTHING that needs to be cleansed and sanitized! Everything from my laundry to my bath! Keeps it squeaky clean! Hard to find Dettol antiseptic disinfectant liquid

This disinfectant is manufactured in India. The bottle is 250ml. So, it is smaller than the regular size that I used to buy. The liquid is in concentrated form. You may need to dilute it a little for your application. I just like the smell knowing that it is the same quality as I have before. I often use it for laundry to disinfect and refresh the dirty towels.

Tried and tested quality product

Our household has been using Dettol Liquid Antiseptic for God knows how long. It is a tried and tested quality product highly effective as an antiseptic and sanitiser. We have been using it more frequently in recent times and it's one of those products that give you peace of mind. This liquid antiseptic however does not come cheap when compared to corresponding products in the market and that's the only concern.

big bottle&great disinfectant

Cant go wrong with Dettol and this is so versatile. Diluted in a spray bottle or neat it just gives you peace of mind compared to other pine disinfectants. If you use diluted a big bottle like this will last a wile even if you use it daily. It does have a very distinct Dettol smell some people love it others not do much I love it as it just smells like everything you wipe down is clean and hygienic. Diluted on a cotton bud its great at drying out a random spot aswell!
