This pack was gifted to me for my birthday and I was so excited to try it out last week on an island working holiday!Usually, I do multiday tramps of up to 5 days in length, so it was a perfect opportunity to see how the pack would hold 4 days worth of "normal" holiday gear, as I was staying in a villa and not out hiking.Between a mix of electronics for working remotely, clothing, toiletries, etc, I was comfortably carrying about 17kg, without a need for any other luggage. There was still tonnes of space left in the pack too.We didn't take a car across to the local island, just the ferry, so the pack had to be comfortable enough for walking to our destinations (and it's bloody hilly island!)Super happy with it! Good space inside for a Camelbak too.There are two separate compartments that can be connected by opening a zip. The main upper larger compartment is able to be opened in a "suitcase" style, which is handy for lying clothes flat if using the pack as I did this time for a trip rather than a tramp.Didn't get a chance to try the attached pack cover - it does seem to take up a bit of room and doesn't compact down as well. However, it is in its own little compartment and right at the bottom of the pack so it probably isn't an issue as it'll be compressed by things on top of it.Overall, very happy :)

I fractured a rib six months before the trip that I used this pack. Though the rib has healed, I struggle with muscle spasms when too much pressure is on my shoulders/mid back. I hiked 30+ miles carrying 15-20 lbs in this backpack and I felt as normal as I usually would (tired and sore but not immobile or in severe pain)! Super impressed by the design and how easy it was to carry. Pros: ergonomic adjustable design, spacious inner compartment that can be separated into 2 compartments if needed, pockets on hip belt, opening for water bladder tube near top of pack for easy access. Cons: wish it had more pockets on the outside.

I love this hiking backpack. It looks amazing, the color is perfection. It's extremely comfortable to wear and distributes weight well. The material is very comfortable as well. This pack was super comfy on my 2 day hike. I was able to carry the following, small toiletry bag, two sets of clothes, small pillow, small sleeping bag and food. I loved the inner pocked of the main pack as I was able to keep things organized. The waist strap was comfortable and I was able to put my phone and keys in those side pockets, which was very convenient. The top pocket on the top I kept my energy bars for a quick bite.The straps were padded perfectly. I had no rubbing and no irritation while wearing even through sweat and a light rain!I am super impressed and can’t wait to go again!

I bought this pack to augment my 40L pack that I use for summer hiking/camping. As the cooler months approach and the need for warmer kit increases my 40L just isn't big enough. The increased size does what you would expect, but there is more to this pack than size. When set for comfort it makes a 15kg load all but disappear. Pull everything tight for more control and the contents of the pack move as one with your torso.The compression rigging has a couple of optional layouts that make stowing gear externally pretty easy. Hip pockets are never a bad thing and are fairly roomy. This is Deuter’s ultralight pack that Outside Mag voted best product this year and I see why! It’s obviously a sleek and pretty pack but it’s also the ultra light pack deuter offers. I found it to be much more lightweight than their other packs but none of the features they cut weight on made the pack less functional in fact quite the opposite!The straps on the sides make it easy to carry a lot of volume on the outside of the pack which leaves room for everything else inside the pack. The mesh is extremely stretchy so you can shove everything in there if you’re lazy like me haha.I also loved how comfortable it is despite having less cushion than their traditional packs. Overall I can’t recommend this pack enough I take it everywhere!
I live in Colorado and my wife and I spend a lot of time in the backcountry. My wife and I have used several bags and this is now my wife’s favorite for backpack camping. I took this bag out for three days and found even though it says it’s made for a woman, I found it very comfortable and had no problems with it.The first thing I noticed is it’s lightweight for the size. The ripstock fabric has held up very well and I haven’t had any tears or pulls. It’s light but very durable.My wife said she thought it was incredibly comfortable for her. The lumber support and and the piece that goes around your waist is nice light support. We both loved the back system as it is GREAT if you sweat a lot. I wasted no time using this pack on my recent hikes. It’s super lightweight, easy to adjust, extremely roomy, comfortable to wear and the color is a unique beautiful orange/(sienna/paprika). The lumbar pad was highly effective in redistributing weight. Not major but my only gripe is that the air contact back system didn’t do the best job at minimizing sweat and dampness. I realize it’s been a very hot & humid summer so I look forward to testing out that feature in cooler weather conditions during an upcoming fall hike. Happy adventures all!
