All-steel chuck is possibly the best one on the market; it does a good job at gripping drill bits. 3 speeds & 22 clutch settings make it versatile. Very powerful motor. I use the hammerdrill low-speed setting to run small taps into steel and aluminum (start with a low clutch setting and increase until the tap barely starts feeding). On the con side, this will be bulkier & heavier than a 2-speed drill or non-hammerdrill. If you don't need the versatility, you might want something a little smaller.
