My first experience with a bench saw. I'm finding it to be an excellent piece of equipment. Glides through even heavy 18mm MDF like butter! The exhaust system is amazing - I hooked it up to me old Dyson barrel vac and literally 99% of all dust goes in there. I work in my spare room 'workshop' and the amount of dust on the floor is so much less than with the circular saw. So far I love everything about it - except maybe the noise. It is rather loud, but that's just the nature of the beast.

I am a hobbyist woodworker. After doing lots of research on the internet, spending hours of time reading reviews, I finally got this saw. This saw is ready out of the box, the bevel angle was right, the scale was correct, throat plate was smooth. Do yourself a favor, save some money and get this saw. You won't be wrong.

This is a well made table saw for the price.The blade was properly set up straight out of the box, no adjustment was required to start work.The easy to use rip fence was also setup accurately from the factory.Negative no. 1 - firstly the unit needs a better means for fixing it to a work table. It is supplied with four angled holes in the frame through which long screws can attach the frame to a board but the angles of the holes do not enable a secure fitment to be made.Negative no. 2 - the mitre fence fits slightly loosely in the tracks. The fence is smooth and easy to use, however you're up against it when replacing blades. This saw has an odd 30mm arbor. Most blades this size are 25mm arbors. Good luck reaming out a saw blade which is going to spin at 4000+rpm! You're forced into using one blade which isn't stocked and has to be ordered specially (Bunnings I/N 6260401)Bunnings, please consider stocking a different saw. I think the Bosch GTS635-216 would be a great "alternate" to this with a standard 30mm arbor but admittedly not as good a fence.
Excellent table saw for the money. Bigger motor than other quality saws, the fence is millimetre accurate and the rack and pinion adjustment and lock in keep it parallel to the blade after moving it. I'd recommend this unit for for anyone wanting a stable accurate table saw for less than a grand.

However there was always a fair bit of work to get accuracy to an acceptable standard as the fence was a bit wobbly and the blade had some play as well.Recently decided to bit the bullet and upgrade to something a little more premium for the next few projects on the horizon.I can't believe the difference it has made. The saw was accurate straight out of the box, the rack and pinion fence is extremely solid and soo easy to operate. Where before I would have spend minutes for each new sized cut. I now takes seconds. The blade is decent and fine for general ripping, but I plan to upgrade to a Diablo blade as I occasionally have some finer work. Used my new DeWalt 7485 table saw for the first time today. As a novice woodworker getting my measurements correct is sometimes a challenge, the cutting guide on this saw is millimetre accurate, very impressed. The construction of the unit seems pretty solid, the mitre gauge & saw guard store neatly when not in use & the on/off switch is well designed. This is my first DeWalt tool & if their other tools are this good I’ll be looking in that direction when my other power tools need replacement.
Great saw. As a casual DIYer this has been perfect. Accurate measurements and cuts. Easy to use and practical for moving around. Slightly pricier than some others but no regrets.
Changing blades was on this unit was easy there is a guide you can use to followon you tube how to change the blade on a dewalt step by step and blades can be found at any tools shopstrong and rip's well through woodbest blade to use 40 to 60 tooth blade.great buy ..
