About time… DEWALT needs to keep on with research and development, they used to lead the way with new tool offerings. Hopefully this is a sign that they are back in the game. Great tool and great company, keep up the good work

Tool works great and just as advertised. The power of a corded tool with out the corded. On less thing to plug in. Perfect for the contractor or the hobbies. Will definitely getting slot of use this winter.

Dewalt 20v biscuit joiner is an everyman tool

This is one handy little tool. I started out to build a table and ended up joining 4' x 4" posts to make a frame for my throwing knives. This tool made that possible and completely effortless. I bypassed hours of drilling and fastening with screws, once these were glued and joined the frame holds everything together fantastically. I'm so impressed that I cannot wait to start another project.

Does the job well

This biscuit joiner does what it was intended for very well, on par with its corded counterparts easily. I was shocked that dust collection did so well, this literally left no mess and could use indoors at the project piece. I know most people have replaced biscuits for pocket holes now, but if youre looking for a true seemless hidden joinery method this is the true craftsman method a professional will use. This is a much stronger joint but there is a learning curve, so practice up and you will be a pro in no time!

Great cordless product

Tool is lightweight, easy to operate and overall user friendly. No need to run extension cords and can easily swap batteries with my other tools. Great addition for a cordless option. Awesome performance

Holy biscuits, Batman!

First time owning a biscuit joiner and WOW! Why have I not had this tool before? Makes excellent cuts and makes joining planks together a breeze. Super easy to use. Kicks out more dust than I’d like and I wish it had a bigger dust port connection option. Otherwise it’s great and I highly recommend picking one of these babies up if you can. 👍🏻👍🏻

Impressive cordless 20v biscuit jointer

First impressions of the DCW682 is how well balanced the tool is. I was worried that it would be hard to control and be very front heavy but even with a 1.7ah power stack the tool felt great even one handed if necessary. It was accurate right out of the box, All I had to do was measure my wood thickness set the gauge to half of the total thickness and select my biscuit size. The center line of the biscuit is clearly marked with notches in the casting with red paint to help it stand out. Depth adjustment is just a simple turn knob with detents to set the depth for the standard #0, #10 and #20 biscuits. The angle and depth gauges are easy to read and have nice arrows to dial the took in. Portable and powerful biscuit joiner.

I am a handyman)kitchen batch remodeler.And this works perfect for that purpose. Portability is a must for me. And this joiner fits the bill.My first use for building shelving units in a pantry. Deepth adjustment was easy.Had no problem with power. I was using a 5ah battery and it had plenty of battery and power to finish the job.I will say if you are a dedicated woodworker you may still want to stick with a corded joiner.Ergonomically it felt great the rubber grips made it easy to hold onto and work great to stop you from damaging your project.I only used the 5ah battery but I could see it getting cumbersome if you step it up to a larger battery.Overall I would say this biscuit joiner is going to make a great addition to my work truck arsenal. Portable with almost no clean up

This is a necessity for furniture, to correctly aligned boards, this is the tool that is needed. This biscuit joiner will save you a tremendous amount of time with less plaining and sanding by keeping boards aligned in the glue-up stage. The portability is a huge bonus to not have to worry about running extension cords. The bag catches most of the saw dust, so not much clean up is needed after use.
