This was used to cut telegraph poles for gate posts. It cut through with ease, and I noticed no drop in power. It was easy to order from Tools4Trade, and delivery was quick (within 2 days of ordering). Time will tell how this continues to perform. For use on a smallholding this seems idea, no fuel to store, no pull cord start, it is relatively quiet and very light compared to a petrol saw I also have.

We got three 18v De Walt tools in mid 2024. The chainsaw had a dodgy switch and now at five months of age, it's failed completely. The De Walt warranty site is terrible. We thought we were paying more for a better product but so far I wish we had bought Ozito products, which in my experience are more reliable, cheaper, and have a better warranty system.
