This wet & dry vac has high capacity. It has plenty of suck for clearing water spills or other water issues. I used it to clear out a blocked gully. It sucked up both the water and all the debris (stones and mud) that was blocking the gully. When emptying, the plug at the bottom of the tank is very convenient compared with units that can only be emptied from the top. Water is heavy! Good price and excellent delivery from FFX as usual.

I purchase this vacuum for use in my wood workshop. I intend to build a cyclone separator to protect this new machine, but have not got around to that yet. In the meantime it is doing a great job. Enhanced by me having some extra tubing of the same diameter (48mm) so I can get to my whole workshop leaving the unit in one place. It has performed very well so far.

After much deliberation and flicking through many websites, we came across this shop-vac, which I didn’t think was going to be any good for the price, but once again I’m amazed. First of all, it adds to my DeWalt collection! And secondly, it has great power for all my needs. Doesn’t struggle with dust collection like many that I’ve had prior!Comes with a good few attachments that make using this product easier.I don’t have any negatives really, only that I wished I’d purchase sooner, before spending hundreds on other brands that don’t do half of what I need them too.

I bought this Dewalt vac to replace an old Earlex I had used for over 20 years but was unrepairable. I mainly use it for dust extraction from power tools in my workshop but I also use it for all sorts of jobs.I like Dewalt power tools, they are well made and well designed. Performance of this vac is excellent with a really strong suction. Tools are adequate but cable is a bit short.The price at Toolstation was far less than anywhere else.
A really fantastic Dewalt wet and dry Hoover. We had an unexpected flood in the house and bought this to try and remove the water that lay on top of our carpet. The Dewalt wet and dry Hoover was remarkable in dealing with the unwanted water. Its suction is phenomenal and using it was, in itself, a work out!! I cannot rate this product more highly.

I didn’t put the casters on to keep it smaller and light for carrying in and out of customers houses.I do plumbing and heating so wanted something that could do wet and dry at the same time. This does not do wet and dry well at all. So if your thinking about it for work as a jobbing plumber I would stay well clear.With the filter on the float valve always shuts the suction like it’s full when it’s not (even when clean).Without the filter it does not do this but an equally bad if not worse thing happens. It sprays the water back out of the blower port.I have completely soaked a couple carpets with black water which is a nightmare.The hose leaks where it connects to the main body. Although the vacuum looks big, it’s surprisingly light. My only criticism is with the accessories and that being the extension wands. There are only 2 supplied with the vacuum and when put together, you find yourself hunched over when using the vacuum. Adding a third extension wand would be my only suggestion.
Bought this a few weeks back. V impressed with build quality and the suction. I used it to pick up some rubble yesterday after some DIY and it breezed through that. It’s not too loud when cleaning the car so it doesn’t annoy the neighbours. My only gripe is that the hose diameter is 48mm and I’m finding it difficult to get a brush attachment to clean the car with as DeWalt don’t do one. I think a reducer and a brush attachment off ebay might work but for now I’m just using a hand brush. I use it without the bag and haven’t tried it for liquids so can’t comment on these aspects.
Its a great little vacuum well built and very sturdy the suction is great it could suck a golf ball through a garden hose (almost)good selection of tools come with the vac and a nice long hose.now for the negative things..the power cable is pitifully short, (Dewalt what were you thinking) also it could have done with one more section on the pole would be fine for someone who is 5ft I'm 5.9ft and have to bend over to hover up.overall a great product for the price I don't think you can find better
Good vacuum but 2 minor downsides to be aware of. 1 the electric lead is quite short, about half length of standard cleaner. 2 the hose has a much larger diameter and not as flexible as standard cleaner hence 4 stars
