I'm starting to replace all of my DEWALT power tools with the FLEXVOLT line of tools! What a great idea to be able to use one battery and charger for all the DEWALT tools! I am impressed with the way it feels in my hand. It features an electronic soft start for torque control ( great feature), a rotating gear case to improve user comfort, guard adjustment is very simple. Instructions are some of the best I've ever read, very well written and easy to follow!! You cant go wrong with a DEWALT product! The tool also features a very good warranty!

Cordless Jig Saw By Dewalt

I have been a DeWalt User for many years, Right now I have the availability to pick up new tools of the DeWalt brand. I have tools from 20 years back from DeWalt that are in operation today on the old 18 Volt Platform. Fantastic tool, build and quality.

I've worked in construction, handyman and DIY most of my 40+ working years and never felt the need for a jigsaw (sabersaw) and really regret not ever getting one. I'm a hardcore Dewalt and Bosch tool guy because they've never let me down. Now as a disabled Veteran and retired I like to do woodwork as a hobby and needed to do some scroll work on some upcoming projects and did lots of research on jig saws. It boiled down to the Bosch JS365 for the best value and ratings.I just happened to go into Ace and saw the Dewalt DCS334B was $30 off and decided to spend the extra since I have a bunch of batteries already. In orbital mode it cuts like butter. Much faster and cleaner than I expected. In regular mode it makes very clean lines even with the 10 tpi blade. I did get some 20 tpi blades for upcoming projects but it's nice to know even the 10 is pretty clean.Surprisingly I still had plenty of fuel in my battery after all that. I have to say this may end up being my 2nd2nd most used tool. No regrets and I'd definitely recommend this tool.

Good Jig. Could use a couple improvements.

I have had this jig saw for over a year now and it is a good tool.Used it a lot when framing remodels and such for custom fixes to issues.THE GOOD:Does what it needs to do.Easy to use and quality built.Buy the extra blade kit so you have a variety of options and extras when you burn through them.THE BAD:It comes with a clear alignment piece so you can follow a line easier. Well it keeps falling out all the time.Handle could use some redesign since the way it is designed it makes it have a higher probability of raising it so it is not flush with the substrate.All in all, Dewalt makes good, quality products and this is just that.You will not go wrong by buying it.

Great For My DIY Home Improvement Skills!

Have been using this tool since purchased in May 2014 for all sorts of projects. It has not failed me because I don't abuse the tool or expect it to so something unreasonable! The battery (DCB204) is still strong and reliable. Again, pay attention to how these Li-ion batteries are to be used and stored and when to charge. I'm approaching my 8th year with this battery, saw, and charger and they are perfect for me. DeWalt has always been a good brand for me because I do what is suggested in the maintenance of the product and care. I suggest you buy DeWalt and take care of the tool and enjoy years of hassle free usage.

Great addition to my tool collection

I have used this quite a bit since getting it, even though I didn't have a jigsaw before. It is well-made and is easy to use. The blade replacement and other features are designed very well and work without effort. I have an assortment of other DeWalt power tools from several generations and use them all the time. Their quality has stood up to my demands well.

One heavy duty jig saw with a very easy blade replacement system

Although seller said it was new, when I received the saw the box had been resealed with clear tape. The saw appears new with instructions and all parts. I tested the saw and it appears to be new. I got it at a great price and the warranty is valid so I am overall pleased with the unit. I really like how easy it is to remove and replace the blades. The saw is built like a tank and cuts effortlessly through most of the materials I threw at it. This saw is very easy to use and it is cordless. On all my corded jigsaws the cord always got in the way of my cuts and I had to constantly get the cord out of the way. No longer an issue with the cordless jigsaw. The unit is heavy but I find it holds true to the cut line so I think Dewalt has a winner.

Solid Tool

Currently using the Dewalt DSC334B 20V during the construction of a pool deck to trim the deck boards going around the pool circumference. I have a corded Bosch jigsaw that works great but I wanted a cordless jigsaw as it is more convenient. I decided to go with Dewalt as I have other Dewalt 20V tools and can use the same batteries. The jigsaw has good speed, power and accuracy. Love the quick change blade mechanism and the fact the led that is lighting the work area flashes when the battery is low. Feels solid and has a good fit and finish.

This Jigsaw is Well Put Together

This saw just feels right in my hand. Strong and stable, and it goes where you want it to. Keyless blade changes mean you don’t waste time not cutting. The built in “dust-blow” keeps your path relatively clear, however I still found it necessary to provide some manual assistance. I definitely appreciate the LED light. It makes it much easier to follow pencil lines, even with older eyes. It will even give you a heads-up when it’s time to change your battery, which again prevents wasted time.
