This is a new tool from Dewalt. It is also my first cordless ratchet. First, it has an extended neck, for hard to reach areas. Interchangeable heads (3/8" + 1/2") that are easy to pop in + out. It accepts any size(Ah) Dewalt 20v battery. I prefer the "powerstack" 1.7 Ah battery because it is slimmer than the rest. The body is a little bigger than most but still small enough for work. Cordless means no hoses getting in the way. And it is just as powerful as any pneumatic tool. I have cut my wrenching time way down with this tool. It costs a little more than other Dewalt ratchets but it is two tools in one. That makes it a real value. I Love this tool!

Tool broke within the first 3 times using it. They dont even stock this model in stores. Its online only. Ended up have to get a whole other 12v one from in store and now have to buy new batteries and charger just to use it. Just a thorn in my side when i have 12 batteries for all my other dewalt tools to then have to buy a whole different style. And why would this break so soon....

I purchased this for occasional home use and the product has already failed and it’s less than one year old. Unfortunately I was right in the middle of a project and I am going to have to deal with taking it and having a service technician look at it. I am very disappointed with DeWalt but mainly Home Depot. The 90 days has succeeded, and yeah, I get that, but manager turned me away with no resolution. His only suggestion was to purchase a new one. I will, but not at Home Depot.

Spot on performance. Needed to remove numerous bolts on a plug aerator that were in a very tight space. The torque was more than sufficient to remove and reinstall the bolts. The slim profile of the tool made getting in to all 24 bolts easy
Great tool! Like the fact the the socket size can be changed easily. Has really good torque and not too bulky for a 20v tool. Glad I pulled the trigger with this buy.
I bought this a few days ago and was very unimpressed, I have tons of Dewalt stuff, the money I have spent on Dewalt tools probably could have put one of my kids thru college. Anyhow this tool just didn’t seem to work as expected. Trigger had issues, very touchy and only worked in some spots, had very little power. This one was a fail for me. Not sure if it was a bad unit or they are all like this, but it was a big let down.
This tool is a beast! It really gets the job done. Great/heavy solid weight. Great reach and not cumbersome. it is a great tool to have in your shop. The best part is if you already have batteries that fit, youre not scrambling to buy more.
Absolutely loved it, but after a couple of weeks the screw that holds down the forward/reverse switch broke. Going to see if the warrenty covers it. But the tool has lots of power, is much quiter that the other brands i have used. If anyone at DeWalt sees this review, i recommend making a set of low profile sockets that fit this tool.
This thing is nice. I like the smaller head compared to the other model. It is faster than the 12V extreme one I had before. The only thing I don’t like is the larger battery required, but that’s the nature of the game for the 20V tools.
