Great tool
I've used these a few times so far, and they've come in very handy. Very sturdy, they'll chisel through wood easily. I like having the knife edge to rough out a section when needed.
The chisels are nice and sharp and well built, great tools.
Maybe mine were made from a bad batch of steel. None of the three in the set will hold an edge doing light duty in softwood.I have sharpen out the knicks after every day of use and I'm only using them to clean out rabbets and channels in softwood. Finish carpentry. I'm not beating on them. Plus, the slightest drop of moisture not wiped away and they rust immediately. A little bit of water based glue left on the blade over lunch and I come back to rust stains. Low grade steel. In both pics, these are chisels used for half a day by me only, after wet stone sharpening.I prefer not to use my high quality chisels on sites where my junior crew need to borrow tools like these because they quickly destroy them, but these don't hold up even with careful use. This thing is absolutely junk besides woodworking I do window replacement used it one time to take aluminum Phillips screw snap the head off and there's huge gouges in it this was supposed to replace my 15-year-old Craftsman pro chisel and I'm back to using that
They’re not fancy , but they will do the trick . Fairly sharp tools .
right out of the packaging I put it to work and it did not let me down. they have a solid feel and were sharp to make a hard job easy.

great Dewalt quality, solid hardened steel holds an edge well, good strong grips, excellent set for demo work or anywhere you have to "make it fit"
