The Dewalt sds max drill felt like it was well made though pricey for a product manufactured in china.I bought this drill after reading the impressive specs in that it could be used with a core bit to drill a 150mm diameter hole. Unfortunately what Dewalt didn't tell you need a tct core bit since the machine has only 2 modes which are hammer drill and rotation stop for hammer chiseling. I need a machine with hammer stop so I can use my diamond core drill bits.Having used Dewalts smaller sds max drill which does have 3 modes including hammer stop, I was very surprised and disappointed that this bigger more powerful and much more expensive machine lacked the hammer stop mode despite being blessed with a variable speed control that the smaller machine lacked.
