Have just got the saw and already had 2 x 54V- 2A (18V-6A) batteries and rapid charger. This saw really needs two batteries and close access to a charger if you plan to do more than one or two small trees. That said the saw is very light, controllable and cuts well.I cut down and then cut into logs two small stringy barks, it did just as well as my huski 345 (16" bar) does on similar trees, but the new battery saw was lighter, easier to control and had seemed to have more torque. Also quieter and no smell from two stroke.
