Doesn’t work as well as I expected but early days, I’m gonna try it without the bag to see if it works any better but will mean the filters won’t last so long

Very much expected, still expensive, some things can be improved, like the hose , run time is not that bad, but it's ok for me because I have a ton of battery .Dust bags are very expensive, and I can't fitted other brands, the cleaning mechanism is very anointing, and can't be stopped wen I used the dust bag.The vacuum has alarm for differ this and is very loud, like I don't have a remote control and the hose is a mile long.For this moment is ok ,putting in calculations that the small one die on me for the second time in just 5 days.The amount of dust is to small for my necessities .

The one star does not reflect Toolden as a company because they have been fantastic and promptly delivered and collected the tool. I have also purchased tools from them that are fantastic.The toolDewalt dust extractor 54v does not do the job properly , I am a carpenter and joiner of 20 years . I work with both softwoods and hardwoods and the hoover gets blocked very easily with softwood from planing and rip saws and is not powerful enough to extract dust from my dewalt chop saw as it just does not have the power Henry the hoover has twice the power but unfortunately is not m class.All my other tools are dewalt and I have no complaints at all I just think that this hoover is not powerful enough for the construction industry either that or the technology is not ... MoreThe one star does not reflect Toolden as a company because they have been fantastic and promptly delivered and collected the tool. Handy hover for the size and weight, excellent at catching the dust from the saw we have it attached to and no worries about leads or trip hazards

Disappointing

The bags that are manufactured do not sit in the housing to allow dust to blow in to the bag. Dewalt need to look into manufacturing a better dust bag. The machine has a great feature wristband that will operate the machine on and off. Just connect the APP to your phone the sinc its quite easy. I cannot stop the machine from bleeping unless I take out the bag. There are 2 settings for size of pipe outlet but the suction is pretty poor. I bought this so that I could do away with yet another tool with electric cables but I realised that I cant get away from the 12.5mm router as there is not a machine manufactured yet. it uses my battery up in just 1 hour and that was with a 9.0 AH

Good for mobility

This dust extractor is a specialised tool for those that have no power in site of work. In this field it excels. But keep in mind that running time (depending battery ah) as well as bag capacity is limited.

Good portable cordless m class

Good quality vacum. Main gripe is Hose is very rigid and catches on square edges when using with plunge saws and jig saws etc otherwise would have been 5 star. A hose more like the festool with a smooth surface and more flexible would be great but apart from that its compact, cordless with great feautures and good quality dust extraction. Would reccomend .

Great vacuum

The vacuum is great, and I love the way that it stacks into my tstak boxes. It does seem to block quite easily, but now that I've realised that the best way to deal with it is to shake the machine, it's not a worry any more.

Not great

Not sure if I got a faulty unit or they’re all like that. I started cleaning some dust from easy fill and the alarm would go on every couple of seconds like the bag would be full already.

Unusable out of the box

As Dewalt has set the suction pressure alarm too low it means that the VERY loud alarms sounds even when it’s being used normally and the hose isn’t blocked. I disabled the alarm and after this it does worked OK but can’t say here how to do this as it invalidates the warranty. Oh and to link using the Bluetooth to a Dewalt mitre saw, which I found this out after ages of trying. Press and hold the Bluetooth button (which for some reason has a chain symbol on it) and at the same time operate the saw for a couple of seconds. To cancel the Bluetooth link, so you can use it with another Dewalt tool just do the same again, e.g. press bluetooth button and operate the saw. To get a day’s work out of it I use the 9.0Ah Li-Ion XR FlexVolt Battery rather the 6.0Ah which Dewalt show in promo pictures.
