Amazing bit of kit, saves alot of hassle with leads and transformers. Mixes plaster and render easily. No charger for batteries but I used my old standard charger and it charges them fully in half an hour. Game changer in my opinion.

This Strimmer is small, light, and highly manoeuvrable as it is battery powered, and uses the standard Makita 18v power tool batteries.We have had experience with the tools in use and can say they are effective and hardy.

Great bit if kit battery lasts well I was happily surprised, but not as much as my labourer he likes the weight also for some reason our last mixer seemed to have a shorter paddle this seems to save his back loads and no need to build a platform any more. Mixed a full gauge without missing a beat, 5 full gauges enough for any meer mortal a day no issue on the battery at all. Recommend.

The cordless line trimmer works very well. Unfortunately, this is my second machine as my previous one gave up the ghost after two years, hence the reason why I took one star away. I use a 4ah battery and this gives a good 30-40 minutes of constant use, which I think is good.

For something that works off a battery it’s not bad. But for the cost of it I’d have expected a bit more oomph. I’ve got a garden that’s big enough for an electric strimmer to be a pain in the rear but not big enough to wield a petrol strimmer This would be perfect but it’s just not “quite“ man enough for the job. It does it. But it doesn’t do it well.

The trimmer has excellent head adjustments and adjustable pole length. The only thing that requires a bit of practice is edging the lawn. Take care to keep the string from wandering off line, otherwise you will cut a neat groove into the lawn surface.

My 2nd mixer bought. Powerfull and very convenient to have no leads, etc.Some of the over moulding comes off too easily over time but we are plasterers and doesn't make any difference. I don't use my corded drills anymore.

Best mixer I've ever used

This is by far the best mixer I've used in 15 years, speed adjustment allows for mess free mixing and cleaning, well balanced and although it feels heavy to carry being double handled its not heavy to use

Like the old cliche says, I should have bought one years ago. No transformer, no trailing leads, no having to leave people's front doors open because of the cables.Great bit of kit with a good speed adjustable spinny wheel compared to my old mixer with only 2 speeds, also no heavier than my old one.My one criticism is that it would benefit from a gradual stop rather than a very instant stop as it does, the air trapped in the bucket simply blows the plaster up whereas on my old mixer I'd lift the paddle slightly out as it slowed to let the air out so it didn't do it but its not as easy with this one, the power is all or nothing.Battery life isn't as I'd read on other posts, I get around 2- 2.5 days on a 9ah battery, so not bad but also not fantastic with others ... MoreLike the old cliche says, I should have bought one years ago. This review may seam a little long but please read through it. The unit is great make no mistake about it. It does it's job 100%. The only real issue I had was with the description and this will catch you out. It states it comes with a carry case. I went as far as to ask what type of case comes with the unit and Dewalt answered the question. Sadly it did not come with a case. However to the credit of the store team they supplied me with a Dewalt box the largest box they can get. The cost of this was around £70. So please be aware it does not come with any type of carry case bag or box. It's up to you where you want to go with this issue. Would I recommend this unit 100% yes. I used it to mix up some bonding and there was no powder left in the bucket after mixing with with the paddle. I did however purchase two extra paddles that are a different brand but trust me you really don't have to. When using the mixer there was minimum ammount of dust in the air. Also it did not even affect the battery as it was still fully charged after using it several times. You can purchase a cheap brand unit but in my mind you will be better off paying the extra money and it will last you for years to come.Like I said both Dewalt and Screwfix messed up regarding the description however it was put right. Go and order a unit if you want to get one you will never regret it.
