After weeks of deliberations between dewalt and another more expensive competitor, I finally decided to go with Dewalt. This is the toughest most rugged drill I have ever used. I have dropped it a few times and gotten it a little wet and this thing keeps on ticking man. Has not lost any power in a year of very tough usage. I have spent most of my working life in Film Special Effects and Industrial Design, Working on films like StarWars, Alien, Superman and for companies such as Rolls Royce, Avon Cosmetics, IBM, British Airways on industrial design models and prototypes. I have used tools and machinery from around the world and find that Dewalt produces tough and extremely reliable equipment. With the advent of 3D printing i am finding new uses for their drills sanders and routers I have a collection of more than 30 DeWalt tools which i use daily and after more than 24 years my original drills are still working as good as the day they were purchased. Im looking forward Dewalts next innovation.
