This light is brilliant. I am a plasterer and have tried other cheaper lights ie small ones and tripod stand ones all which are extremely inferior to this one. It is sturdy. Has 3 brightness setting of which the middle one is more than suitable for my trade, and a battery last all day on the no. 2 setting. It's pricey but worth it.

Waited longer for this product than usuall. But lights good very bright and well made, I have quite a few tools from this site and not had a problem with one of them highly recommend

Expensive, but a brilliant even light, much better suspended from the ceiling, doesn’t catch your eyes. Best light I’ve used.

Better than I expected

After watching many reviews on this work lights I made the purchase and it is better than I imagined!Very fast delivery and the best price I could find was Toolstation.

DeWalt DCL074-XJ 18v XR Tool Connect Area Light

Actual product in terms of what it is (a site light), works great.However, the tool connect feature simply is a waste of time as following the instructions to open the app and set up, for three weeks now saying error 404, this page needs fixing, we are on it! I doubt anybody is on it. Bit annoying

Night to day!

Lights up a room brilliantly, one complaint would be it eats batteries but you font get that level of brightness without some sacrifice ! Ceiling hook particularly useful!

Short run time on 5 Ah battery

I brought this as although unilite have great reviews I wanted something on the same platform as my power tools. However it is pricey given that there is no battery supplied. Max 2.5hours run time on 5Ah battery. It lasts better on flexvolt 9.0Ah batteries but still not all day. You need a minimum of x2 9.0Ah batteries to get you through the day. Obviously on full brightness as there are two settings. It would have been a nice touch to be able to plug it in also. So dual supply, mains or battery but sadly this wasn't thought of. I love DeWalt tools but seeing the run time on other manufactures portable lights it make me question the price. Lights up one room adequately or a loft. Time will tell if it's worth the money depending the hours run time on the LED.
