First turn by hand and the mechanism inside snapped. I can't take the adapter off and it just keeps spinning both left and right. I am going to see about the warranty right now. (hopefully I can get some assistance!)

Great buy got them in sale. These tools can be used like they're supposed to be used. Haven't had a set of tools this quality since the old Craftsman. I definitely recommend.
Used this tool set today in a blizzard! I keep this tool set in my Tow Truck,My customer ran off the highway and was stuck in a snow bank,we winched him out of the ditch and discovered his cars rear tire was flat,customer had a spare but no tire tools,Out came the Dewalt tool set,we changed the tire and customer was back on the road!
I like the feel of the ratchet handles, but my 1/4in has a catch in it that wont go away. Its very annoying.My 1/2 inch only clicks 36 clicks. Not a 72 tooth at all. That's annoying too since the advertisement said "72 tooth ratchetS".There isn't a hex key or bit in mine to service the ratchets. That's the 3rd annoyance.Everything else is fine. Like the 6pts a lot.
Just received this as a gift I’m happy about it but I’m also disappointed on the ratchet there’s no release button at all for the price I’ve seen kind of disappointing that’s what happens when you don’t read the reviews is there a way I can exchange at least the ratchet tools for one that has a release button
A top set for the beginner, and a great set to supplement an experienced tradesmen. Feels like a good bang for buck on the steel quality/quantity of sockets. Mine had a missing ratcheting wrench, but with Dewalt's no hassle warranty, one quick email on their website and I was immediately mailed a replacement wrench in a week and a half, I was actually impressed by how hassle free it was. Just made sure I listed the correct tool, what was missing and a picture and boom, next reply was basically, "It's on its way" So to sum up, a good kit for anyone needing a capable and varied set.
The wrenches did not have the quick release buttons as advertised. I returned the set due to them not being what I wanted/ordered.
This DeWalt tool set is much larger than I normally thought It'd be! Very pleased!
