I started off getting all of the TSTAK cases for a couple reasons - one, they are very affordable, and two, DeWalt has made many variations to meet most needs for tool storage and organization and made them stackable. This case has two roll out drawers each with 9 sections in it, perfect for storing small amounts of hardware, screws, knobs, or whatever. One caution - the sections/trays on this tool box are open, so this is not a tool box you want to have dump over. If you need more secure storage there are some other TSTAK options better suited for that, but this is a great option for small quantities of many things.

Drawers work smooth and close securely. Should work good in the field as long as it stays flat and items stay seated in compartments. To tip to far will cause stored items to shift causing drawer to seize and that would be a problem. found that out loading the drawers initially.

Great organizer. Bought for use with vehicle work, small parts storage. Great BB draws guides, with non rusting plastic drawers that even latch. Very good item with or without balance of Tstak system. Well worth the money - best I have seen.

A few months in and have to admit, it is great for storing small tools. Can get plenty of tools in each drawer. Easier to keep a set of screwdrivers organized when you need to have to find a different size when you need to take some thing apart.The other great thing is that I can break down the stack, put it in the trunk of my car and then go help a friend build something from the local big box store that comes in parts.Overall, for the price, you can't beat the value.
I got this to organize my small handheld tools, various drill bits, Allen wrenches, etc. I had them in my toolbox and it would never stay organized. I'm just an amateur DIY person at best so its for home use but the TSTAK series looks interesting. You can get different types of boxes and stack them on top of each other and haul around in a cart. I may get another model and replace my old school tool box entirely. The drawers open easily and pop out slowly. They appear to be on a track so they glide back and forth so its not made poorly. Recommend!
The TSTAK drawers are a great way to organize tools by job. I have a the drawers organized by plumbing, electrical, drills and accessories, multi-tool and accessories, cutting, measuring, wrenches, etc. No more hunting through a box of loose tools. I can just take the box I need with the tote of specific material for the job. The boxes are stacked in the back seat area of my truck and easy to grab.
Product would get 5 stars if it did not have a defect.Received for the 3th time a unit with the same defect.The bottom drawers scrapped and does not work as smoothly as the top drawer.Ater 2 times complaining about it, they sent me an other own and assured me that this one did not have the defect..but when I opened the box I could see right away that it had the same problem.As I said the unit would be worth 5 stars without the defect for it is great to store your handbooks like srewdrivers,pliers, files, chisels etc.You also can use it to store srews, bolts, nuts and Washers in it.
This is a solid piece that is built to last. I love the drawers for storage and better organization. It is a bit bulky and heavy when filled so definitely better for a stationary location or on a pull cart.
I have several of the Tstak products. They are all built very durable. I especially like the roller bearing track on the drawer units works great in my application.
I bought this about a month ago. Ive used all the modular stacking tool box systems. and if you want drawers this is the best unit on the market. the drawers slide super smooth on bearings just like stationary metal tool boxes. most other toolboxes slide on plastic slides. i will definitely be buying more units. I currently use it for small hand tools; primarily marking and measuring tools that i need quick access too but get lost easily and i need to keep organized.
