Purchased to hold & transport cordless tools and batteries to jobsite and keep clean and organized when not in use - works as expected. Purchased at sale price - suggested retail seems excessive in my opinion. I am able to fit 20V Impact, drill, flashlight 2 batteries in large compartment and bits and other tools in top storage.Currently own Tstack 1 & 2

Dewalt portable toolbox & organiser

This is a great toolbox. I ordered two of them. The main storage compartment is nice and roomy for drills and other small battery operated tools. The upper compartments are great for organizing different size screws or whatever you might need to organize. Its tough and has two very well built calapsable handles. One on top of the case and one on the front. Great design. I deffinatly recamend it.

Good Compact Tool Box

Overall, build quality is good for the price. For me, the hinge is not so good. Pin of the hinge can slide out easily. I don't know it is normal or not. The size is very good. I can put my (1) DCD995, (1) DCF886, (1) DCB 105, (2) DVCB204 in the lower container (without foam insert). On the top container, You can put plenty Drill Bits or other accessories

Nice Tool Storage System

I researched different tool storage systems (Festool, Bosch, Dewalt Tough Box) and this one seemed to be the best bang for the buck. So far, it has not let me down. I like the fact that I can latch any of the boxes together and bring them into the job in one shot. This box has a good size interior and a separate section on the top for smaller items. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to keep tools organized in the large compartment, but so far I don't mind digging around a little. I've only had it for about two months, but it seems to be pretty durable.

Organizing my drills

I used to have my dewalt cordless drill and impact driver with all my batteries, charger, spade bits, twist drill bits, extensions, right angle attachment, step drill, and impact driver bits in the tool bag the set. I purchased this to get and the larger box for a little more organization. Love the idea of the lift top for all the loose attachments, unfortunately it doesn’t have a section big enough for a standard 12” extension or long twist bit, miss it by an inch. Other than that it’s a much better system then the old bag especially when I need to toss material on top cause there is no better spot. Couple that with it stacks with other TSTAK units makes it a sound investment to me.

Perfect case for a hammer drill!

I found this case to be the perfect case for my 20v hammer drill. I bought a foam insert for this case and cut out spots for the drill without the battery on it, a spot for a battery, and a spot for a charger. The top lid covers several sections that are perfect for drill bits and various size TAP CON screws. This case has a top handle for carrying multiple TSTAK tool boxes and a side handle to carry it by itself.

Solid Small Toolbox, Integrates with other Dewalt Storage

Great small toolbox that is easy to transport. Lots of top compartments for easy storage of hardware. Lots of room inside for a variety of hand and power tools.

This box is the best tool container out there in any brand. The reason is the organiser on top of the box. It makes it easy.

My driver heads and drill bits fit in the top of the organizer. Not even the newer products have this option. Not any brand has this option. I can keep my bits and drills in one place and it makes me very happy. The box itself is very heavy duty. I highly recommend this toolbox organizer. I wish it would be slightly bigger. I could fit more batteries and other tools in it. But it's pretty damn perfect the way it is now.

Toolboxes that are perfect for me

I started researching toolboxes. I've never been a fan of Dewalt but they definitely come out on top for stackable toolboxes. The Tstak is perfect for me at 17" wide and 13" deep. Understand this one is only a "top" box hence the big handle and no locking tabs. If I was younger and/or was taking toolboxes to a jobsite I would absolutely recommend getting the Tough System instead. Larger and tougher. But these are a nice size and very well built. Should last many years.

Will buy again

Not as big as the Toughsystem but thats why I bought it, fitting certain tools into these cases can be tricky though. Bought this to keep my impact driver and drill secure instead of the unorganized bag they came in. In the top section i have 2- 2ah batteries and all my paddle/drill/misc bits. In the main, larger bottom section I keep my impact driver with a 4ah battery, a drill with another 2ah battery, and a charger. I also purchased the foam insert to help keep everything from banging around. I use some of the extra cut foam in the top section to keep smaller bits from bouncing around. Overall I love having a hard case for my tools and the ability to attach it to other TSTAK cases is very convenient. The only downside to this case is that it has a tendency to topple over when standing upright, but I suspect that is due to how I've placed everything inside it. I would definitely recommend this line of hard cases/toolboxes.
