I love these tools. 6point sockets is the way to go to avoid stripping bolts. The material is chrome, durable and easy to clean. Great starter set or for the experienced mechanic. You can’t go wrong with dewalt.

I used to work on cars for over 13 years. I had an ASE certification in numerous automotive specialties, and owned all Snap-On tools. I have long since changed careers, but needed a set of tools up north at my property for general repairs and maintenance. I searched for a long time before settling on this set, and am I ever impressed! The quality and feel remind me of my Snap-On sockets and wrenches. I love the feel and precision of the ratchets. Very complete set for the price. I actually think this is priced better than some of the off-brand sets out there. One reviewer said that it was missing the 14 & 15 mm deep sockets, which is true. Almost Nailed it !

In my opinion, Dewalt has put together some nice sets. Well thought out, and with almost no repetition of sizes like so many "sets" have. I almost pulled the trigger on this set, but it is completely missing any socket in the 9/16" size. 1/4" or 3/8" drive. C'mon guys and gals, that one is important. Almost nailed it !!

I purchased this set as a Birthday gift for my Daughter and she loves it.De Walt makes great tools. My son uses this make of tools he has his own construction company.Their grandfather was an auto mechanic.

Great Set of Tools for the Money

For the price, these are great. They feel above average in quality. (they are not like my old Craftsman but still really good) The only thing is some of the deep wells are 1/4 inch where you would expect them to be 3/8. I don't use these everyday but I do travel with them to take parts off semis and other vehicles... they fit the bill for that purpose. The only thing I personally would add is a couple more different size extensions. As a plus this does come with 1/4 drive extension for you 1/4 impact driver. The box I thought was going to be too big but it actually is large but just right for what it holds.

missing some of the most common sizes.

loved the set until I tried to use it. No deep well 9/16 or metric equivalent 14mm. Also missing 15mm Deep well, and 1/2" end wrench. Unbelievable, these are some of the most common needed sized in the world. Dewalt seriously dropped the ball on this one. I have over $2K worth of Dewalt tools that I love, and use daily, but I will definitely be more careful buying Dewalt tools in the future.
