Shipping was good. Material quality is good. However the pre drilled holes don’t line up correctly. I’ll need to modify the piece to make it fit.

Mike is a class act and true professional. There are several “types” of the Dewalt 779. I happen to have a Type 22. It’s screw hole pattern is just fractional different than the Type 20. Mike made the first one, screw holes just didn’t fit. He quickly made a new one and it dropped in with some finesse. Both times the walnut was superb. The fit and finish of his product is excellent with great attention to detail. He’s great to deal with and wants you to be happy with the end product. I recommend him. If your unsure of which type of 779 insert to order, just check the sticker on your machine and talk to him first. He’ll steer you right.

The quality of the wood was very good. The holes were off and I had to widen them to make it work. The seller contacted me immediately to resolve my concern. We determined that the 780 model, which I have, is not compatible with this insert without modifying it. So be aware of this if you are considering buying one. I received 1st class customer service.

Bad mounting brackets

The mitre saw mounting bracket mounting clip handles are made of cheap flimsy light plastic and sit higher than the rubber mounts when put on the ground, once I bolted the mounts to a mitre saw because the clips are lower, one of the clips broke because of a weird safety latch I had to remove the latches that are completely pointless. Very disappointed in Dewalt.

Better late then never..

Hard to believe I went this long without one of these . Years of saw horses using planks, picks, old doors Whatever was handy. This is the most portable stand that will handle 16 ft. material. The only negative is having waited this long to get one. Buy it. Youll be happy you did..

DeWalt saw stand long version

Good bench works with most saws. Only downside is the supports tend to need regular adjustments. I removed the bolts and use a bike wheel quick release with a block of wood inbetween to stop it from moving. Works great now

I brought this stand with 305mm mitre saw few days ago. Brackets are made with hard plastic and can be damage if you frequently remove it. I may experience the same thing like others who already faced if I didn’t had any patient as a first time user.I watched so many useful youtube videos to find what is the best way to install the saw to this stand. Managed to install the saw at one go by following instructions on youtube.But my biggest fear now does this brackets are strong enough to hold such a heavy machine?If the bracket is broken during the time of operating the machine and hurt myself and the machine too. Will that damage cover by the warranty of this stand?If this bracket made by some kind of metal this risk can be eliminated. I totally forgotten to check review of this product because I was fully focus on comparing the Saw with anther brand which go neck to neck with DeWalt.I can see the brackets can buy for 129/- which means they were being problematic or DeWalt being cheeky to make money?If I saw the review before then I may not buy this product. I am sorry I cannot recommend this product to anyone due to my fears as I mentioned before.

If this bracket made from metal, then this issue will eliminated easily.My biggest fear now if the bracket broke and saw fall from stand, Does DeWalt cover the damages made to saw because of poor quality of the stand component?I totally forgotten to check reviews of this stand, if i saw this then i may not buy it....

I've been wanting and needing one of these stands for a long for my DeWalt DWS780 miter saw. This stand will make using my saw much easier to use! It's an excellent device that will make woodworking much easier than before!

Been using this on and off for over two years. Great construction, portability, quick set up and the ability to use the mitre saw without the need to unmount the attached hardware make this worth paying a bit more over standard run of the mill saw stands...and who doesn't like the Dewalt yellow colour.
