Just bought this about a year ago, I've used it sooo much. Great tool, feels good in the hand using it, seems like its got enough power. Any home owners thinking about getting a router, get this one! Also bought the cordless 1.25 HP dewalt router, best tool I own now. It will also fit in the fixed base plunge attachment that comes w the corded kit.If youre thinking about purchasing, dont hesitate. Well worth every penny!!Feels solid, quiet, rugged, cordless version has LED lights

This guide fence is fixed to the base using 2 small screws so its not as speedy as other brands,that's a bit of a negative for me,pkys the 2 screws holding it in place eventually wore away the aluminium thread it fixes too.So have to upgrade the screws several times(using a Tap & Die set) I've now got zero fixing for the guide..... not impressed.This occurs through constantly taking the fence on and off daily for storage purposes etc.This system needs a rethink pkease dewalt.But the router ad a machine is great just the fence system is a let down.

Easy assembly / Attachment for a straight edge guide.
It is a great value for a tool that will help with precision wood working!
I used this edge guide with my dw611 router. The edge guide is attached to the routers fixed base using two screws. The edge guide allows me to do 90% of the jobs that I used my router table for.
This is a good quality tool, and works great, just not made for small area cuts. But otherwise a great quality tool.
Adds to what you can do with your 1.25hp router. Very nice.
Must-have with a router.
