At the price I bought it at I gave it a 5 star. This is a tough and lockable box. It could do with a divider or two depending on your own specific needs. It can hold most if not all of my 18v tools.

Excellent tool storage box. Well made and keeps all my tools in one place. Really good that you can build up with the Toughsystem 2 and add more boxes as you go along. They stack nicely together with the side clips and are easy to remove from other boxes.

A tool box for the ages.

I currently have two DS400 XL cases and have used them extensively both on and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Their watertight design and ruged build provide a sense of security when tossed around during ship to shore and ship to rig transfers. With the integration of foam inserts, these boxes are very much suited for tool of a sensitive nature where calibration is crucial. I have owned this type of box for six years now and have purchased others in this model line to accommodate my needs as an electrical switchgear technician. I highly recommend this product for those who wish to keep their tools safe and dry when working in environments outside of their control. Added bonus, they come with a life time warranty.

Big & tough

I bought this about 6 months ago and its even better then I thought it would be. It’s wter proof so my tools stay dry when I have to drive with this in the bed of my truck. It’s also large enough to hold almost any tool. I will be buying a lot more of these for sure.

Plastic Locking tabs broke off

Plastic Locking tabs broke off, the system is now unstackable. I have to wrap a ratchet strap around the boxes to hold boxes together, what a pain! the plastic is cracking, this is not a tuff item.it would be good for an artist or hair dresser. If your a contractor do not buy.

Plenty of room inside!

I’m a cabler so the DS400 holds most of my tools. From my cable snake reel in the large storage area, to my multimeter on the removable tray insert. Plus the addition of dedicated storage holders for my screwdrivers and pliers along the rear inside of the case, makes finding these tools quick and easy.

Solid big tool box with good build quality

Large tool box with good build quality . Hinges are solid and definitely keep the water out . Have used it as a step and its still solid . Got the DS400 and DS300 and they’re both brilliant . Tough system 2 works a treat and can easily be attached or detached from other tool boxes .

Well made, tough and waterproof - excellent

I have several of these protecting my electric power tools in my garage. The cases are well made and the seal on them is incredible - no water will pass through them and, hopefully, neither will damp air. I am very happy with these - especially when I can buy them at a good price.

brought the extra box to add to my current set

absolutely love it as keeps all my tools pack and ready to go at a moments notice and more importantly I can lock the storage and know that my gear is still there when I get home. Easy to stack in the back of my Ute and waterproof, as I have already left my box outside to trial it and it is totally dry inside... really happy. well worth the money.
