I think Dickies are a 5 star product in general. My only issue with these shorts is the length. I know I bought the extra long ones on purpose but I was surprised how long these actually turned out to be. I'm 6' tall and have been having problems with shorts coming to my knee barely or above. Considering this I bought the extra long shorts. They were like flood pants! I can compensate by wearing them up a little higher so I'm going to keep them but in hindsight I would get the regular length ones. Know your measurements gentlemen and avoid buying super long shorts. Unless that's what your going for in which case buy these!

These don't look well because after only a few wearings at home, there are friction "balls" forming on the Dickies shorts. This is apparently due to the content of the material which doesn't seem to be wearing well at all. Disappointing! My husband had Red Cap pants that wore very well over time, perhaps because of a higher cotton content. We purchased the Dickies because the Red Cap brand did not offer the15 inch shorts. The "balls" on the Dickies shorts make them look cheap and shabby. Why would you make clothing that men wear and work in that get friction balls on them? And they are also on the outside of the leg, not where there is much rubbing at all! I ware a 40 but I always order bigger so I order 42 and comfort to me. My parents never could afford for me and I been in Dickies for 20 years. I buy from the website but use to buy from wal mart but the only place you can buy 15" shorts and when I put them on I feel like I'm back in the 90's. They need to do more colors in the 15" like Camo stripes checkers put some flaire into it. Maybe flames even get creative because the bad thing is you guys are not creative in the colors or the stripes or patterns you have like old man colors only and that's not cool I'm 44 years old and I like to dress like I'm 16
