I bought two pairs of indigo unwashed denim bib overalls 15 months ago through the mail because they were on sale. When I received them, I thought the thin denim material felt a little slim compared to other jeans I wore in the past so I thought I would probably only get 4 months tops out of these bibs. I alternated wearing each pair of overalls day after day for work since I bought them. Now, after 15 months I wearing the same two pairs of overalls, I still don't have a single hole anywhere! They both got very faded from washing, but again still no holes! I work for a propane company and I usually go through a pair of jeans every 4 to 6 months, these slim denim overalls are very durable! I just got them and have not worn them much but a few things come up right away. The construction feels durable and yet comfortable. For the size I have (30 x 32) the legs could be a little bit skinnier so that it is not so loose.The main issue I have is with the pockets. The tool pocket on the right leg unfortunately is not wide enough for my cell phone to fit. On my Carhartts fit my phone perfectly. The chest has two pockets that are nicely placed, however, the are not deep enough to hold my cell phone and allow the snap button to close. Considering that at work and play, a cell phone is probably the most commonly used tool, I would recommend making some minor changes to this design to allow for a touch screen cell phone to fit in all available pockets.

Ordered a 34 my normal size, but they were tight in the waist. Had to return at my expense which I knew was my risk. Doubtful I would order on line again at Dickies.ca. Went to Walmart, found a similar pair but maybe slightly lesser finish, but at least I could try them on. Considerably less expensive at Walmart. Same fit issue, but got a 36. Both online and Walmart pairs were a little baggy in the legs, but fine with me. Had to get them hemmed as I am not the perfect model with a slim waist and long legs. Happy with the Walmart pair.

I have used Dickies for many years. They wear good and the price is right. I really like the pocket arrangement. I have tried others and the way they have the pockets arranged just doesn't work well for me. They wear good and once they start to get holes in them I can make them into shorts for the summer.The only reason for giving them only 4 stars is the straps bunch up when I wash them and I usually have to flatten them out and sometimes iron them flat again but it's not a big deal usually.
Been heavily on the fence about buying overalls for a while, I then got a sale pair of dickies straight legs, that are awesome. So I took the plunge, and ordered 40 waist with the short. So first off, I wear a 38x30. I should have ordered 2 sizes up, because I can only wear the bottom side buttons, otherwise they’re snug on the tummy. Someone on the reviews said that the short length is like a 30. And I’m telling you it’s more like a 32. Also, these are made with zero taper, so these guys baggy and big. They’re much more of a boot cut.Material wise these are decently thick, they’re good fabric and comfy. They have a good amount of length for the suspenders.Good work overalls, not the best styling overalls. Decent is the only way I can truly describe them.
I'm a 33 x 32 pants so I got 34 x34 bc there wasn't a 34 x 33 size. ( with pants underneath) I chose that size for movement while splitting wood. The only issue i have is the buttons on the side after one use (4hrs) they are stretching out only bc it is very snug there compared to the initial waist line. If only there was maybe one more total inch in that area these would be perfect. In every other situation they are exactly what i wanted and expected. For $50 cant beat it.
Dickies’s are my “go to” overalls. They have canvas suspenders which don’t stretch out. And they last a good long time. I wear them everyday. Plus….I actually use the chest tool pockets for my flashlight, pencil, screwdriver, magnetic retriever, telescopic tool ( to help retrieve things out of my reach like hanging branches) and a folding knife. Side pockets hold my hand pruners and needle nose. All that save me trips to the barn in most cases.🌲👨🌾⛰
These bibs are seconds. The inseam run straight inside and outside on the left leg.The right leg inseam runs to the front of my foot and behind my leg to my heel.So i have a double white thread running from the hip to my toe instead to my ankle.Ha ha ha I look funny.🤷🏻♂️🧐I have bought many pair of Dickies bib overhauls with great results. But this takes the cake. Who’s idea was it to sell seconds to online buyers. I hope that is not the case.I knew i will have to get them taken up to my 29 inseam length. I have washed them in an attempt to shrink before inseam is changed. I cant say how disgusted I am.I’ll also bet this review will never see the light of day on your site.I would like to exchange both pair of them for a higher quality two pair bib overhauls.
The chest fit fine, i went a size up from my pant size and that was no issue. The problem was the pant legs, which were reminiscent of some early 2000s JNCO jeans, with each pant leg being large enough to fit both of my legs at once. I know they're work pants and so probably supposed to cover something, but these could probably cover a hockey goalie's pads. The length was also an issue. I ordered the same size that i wear in jeans and these covered my feet by a few inches. i'm 6ft 200lbs and got a 36/32 for reference. had to return them.
So I am a larger man, I also have another style of Dickies overalls I've worn for years.So no one was as surprised as I when I put these on after using the fitment guide.I'm not convinced the designer has actually seen a human being before.These are basically a huge tube of denim. There is absolutely no shape or style to them.Not only were the legs large enough to fit another person in with me, but they were long too.Honestly, you'd have to try for something to fit this badly.They where comfy though.
