These are some of the best all-cotton pants out there! Well-made, flattering cut, nice deep pockets. Plus, they are slightly lighter-weight than the 'other' brand of duck pants. I love them, and so does my partner, who now says they're his favorite. A great value for the money. The colors are nice too. I would most definitely buy again.

I ordered six pairs of the Relaxed Fit Sanded Duck Carpenter pants that were all nominally the same size (32W x 30L), but in reality only two of the six pairs fit properly. Another two were so tight I couldn't put them on. Additionally, the stitching around the waist was irregular and messy, with a few stitches that actually ran off the material in places. I buy these pants often and the quality has tanked since my last purchase over a year ago. I hope Dickies institutes better quality control because until now, their pants have been well made and durable. Two Stars for the two pair of pants I kept. Do better.

I like these a lot because theyre a little more naturally fashionable with a high rise. I have a paunch situation with my body type and its good for keeping a fluid silhouette. Dickies, especially the pants, generally last me a good amount of time for the price point. Can be worn in a variety of ways.
I love everything about these pants except, I wish they were made with the flex material and flex waist. I’m normally a size 32, but I have always ordered pants 2-3 sizes bigger because of the gym. Now that I am getting back into the gym I needed a size bigger for my legs and butt to have some breathing room. I have the flex series carpenter pants in a 34x34 but they don’t have the left utility pocket like these do. Which I absolutely love. It’s perfect for my phone. Even my buddies iPhone 15 Max Pro fits in it. I hope Dickies one day makes these carpenter pants exactly the same as they are now with the left utility pocket with the flex material and waist.
I already own 8 or 9 pair . The best work pants hands down .I am a Fabricator for a machine shop and boat yard . We work in rock wuarrya instead chutes in boat yard in Bilges and tanks welding cutting fittings . If they had a little more Fire retardant it would be nice but they don't flame up and handle small sparks great . Sizing is a little weird at time I have 3 pair 36x34 and 3 38x34 they fit the same . I do compare these with the other C brand and the Du336 weather ford /Sanded pants with the extra wide loop are my favorite .
I have bought these as my work pants for over 15 years but this order of 3 pairs is not the same. They are now made in Kenya instead of Mexico and they are not using the same pattern. The fit is tight like regular jeans in the but and the pant legs no longer have the slight tapper which makes them look like bulky sacks.I wanted to attach pictures but this site does not seem to allow that. There's no way these can be called relaxed fit any more. They will be returned and the search is on for a new work pant that fits like these used to.

Every day when it's time to finally head home from the shop, I'm finding that I have to take everything out of my pocket individually, just to reach my keys at the bottom. I ordered four pairs, and I'm not going to return any, simply because after a few weeks, they're already showing much more resilience than the Carharrt work pants I typically find myself in. Bottom line, great pair of pants made with high quality material and meticulous care. But you're going to have to reconsider where you keep your keys, zyn, spare magazine and pocket light. I thought these would be a good alternative to more expensive work pants. Had to size up and they still don’t fit right. Usually wear a 32 waist, returned them, and got a 34 which are definitely too big. The proportions of the pant seem to be off. Ill fitting, tight around the hips. Ended up keeping the larger size…they don’t look great but at least I can move in them. Good enough for now but I won’t be getting another pair.
I'm not sure what is going on but I have bought 6 pairs of pants in I believe 6months and only two fit in the waist. Something is going on with sizing and I thought the first 3 pair it was just a flook but then these last three same thing. One pair fits as expected and then the other 2 where so small I couldn't even button. I order a 36 waist and every other type of pants seem to fit in 34 but I have to buy bigger with Dickies which is okay however when the sizes are that far off I don't know what to do. # stars because if they fit, they are great pants.
