These pants are NewJeans approved as they were rocking customs in their Lollapalooza 2023 performance in Chicago. So I got myself a pair and you can't beat these pants at thirty dollars including free shipping. These pants do fit a little snug at my usual size of 36, but this is great because it means I can rock them without needing a belt and they're a bit high waisted and so they stay up and I feel like you get a nice clean look this way. I also love the availability of a 28" inseam, so I don't need to get these pants tailored either. Love the look for only thirty bucks. My only complain is the material, which is 2/3rds polyester and 1/3rd cotton. Would love to have a better quality pair made this way and would easily pay more for an all cotton twill version or mostly cotton blend twill.

Excellent work pants. Have been using them for over 50 years, but with larger waists :-) as the years go on. Will buy nothing else. But not happy with the front pockets being much shorter, the past few years, not deep enough, like the original models were. So bring back the original deep pockets. Another complaint, bring back the expansion waist Dart at the back of the waistband. That gave us a bit more room, when cut open, when not quite ready to go to the next size of pant. The tough cotton material has saved me many a cut or bruise on the thighs and legs over the years. Wife has had to Iron tough patches on the knees, cause the rest of the pant still had lots of life left. If you bring back the things you changed the past few years they would be perfect, again.

So dickies are probably the best most durable pants ever all my life I used to wear Hagger pants and those would probably start falling apart in about 5-6 months and by the end of the year they completely fell apart because I was very rough on my pants. so I looked on their website and they had a sports version of their pants, so I got those and the same exact thing happened, so after looking for a little while I stumbled upon dickies pants, which they have not fallen apart even by the slightest in almost 3 years the only reason why I had to get new ones is because I was dealing with an open wound, and I kept rubbing the superglue excess on my pants, and I ended up staining them and it didn’t look very professional for work but I have worn dickies pants for almost 3 ... MoreSo dickies are probably the best most durable pants ever all my life I used to wear Hagger pants and those would probably start falling apart in about 5-6 months and by the end of the year they completely fell apart because I was very rough on my pants. so I looked on their website and they had a sports version of their pants, so I got those and the same exact thing happened, so after looking for a little while I stumbled upon dickies pants, which they have not fallen apart even by the slightest in almost 3 years the only reason why I had to get new ones is because I was dealing with an open wound, and I kept rubbing the superglue excess on my pants, and I ended up staining them and it didn’t look very professional for work but I have worn dickies pants for almost 3 years. Now I’m going to retire my old pair. And start breaking in my new pair tomorrow. So if you’re thinking about getting Hagger pants for heavy duty work, don’t it’s a huge waste of money. Get dickies pants instead they will actually last.

I'm a skinny guy. When I can get pants with a 28 inch waist, I do. In most cases they are too snug everywhere else, like the pockets or the thighs and quickly wear out, or they aren't well made and fall apart in short order These fit well all around. I probably won't buy more though. The pockets are shallow, and the coins tend to end up on the couch cushions, driver's seat or simply fall out when I remove my hands. The belt loops are also rather narrow, and it takes long to thread my belt through the loops. Described as Work Pants, I was expecting something akin to painters pants, carpenters jeans or cargo pants. These have none of those features. They fit well, but the zipper doesn't lower far enough. For the use I'm looking for, these don't serve the purpose.
I have purchased Dickies pants and work shirts for years, but something seems to be happening with their manufacturing process. I have purchased seven (7) pairs of pants from them recently. All were Original classic 874 khaki pants. All had tags on the inside stating that they were size 32 x 29. I noticed different fits and measured all seven very carefully with a tape measure from the hook on the left to the clasp on the right. I measured along the waist on the inside of the pants. Two (2) measured 34 inches, two (2) measured 33 inches, one (1) measured 32 inches and two (2) measured 30 inches. I had to return the two measuring 30 inches. They were the last I ordered and were too tight to wear. The pants themselves are excellent, but I am now scared to order them ... MoreI have purchased Dickies pants and work shirts for years, but something seems to be happening with their manufacturing process. Pilling!!!These pants pill like crazy.Pil is those small little balls of fabric you'll see on your 874s after 5-6 months ( in my experience). Turns out it's because the manufacturers are trying to save on costs so they use less cotton. This wasn't a problem with vintage Dickies. The pants are great don't get me wrong but the pilling is just sooo annoying. I've thrown 2 pairs before cause the quality just visibly goes downhill after 6 months. I thought I was not taking care of them enough, but they're work pants they should take a little beat down. Even after taking extra care of the second pair I threw away, the pilling was still happening
There is what happened to the American consumer after the pandemic and the limited ability of stores to make enough money to survive. Most men love Dickies pants, their strong long life for use and their excellent neat look. Most of us men went to Sears, whom carried the product for years. Whether it was pants for work, or pants to take your lady out on the town, the pants are and were loved. Sears went under after a hundred plus years in existence. We lost easy access to the pants we grew up loving. Now with this new easy order system I feel like I am on top of the world again. I will continue to buy pants for me and my relatives as gifts. The company needs to know the yi7nger generation are unaware of the high quality of your produce and devotion of your employees ... MoreThere is what happened to the American consumer after the pandemic and the limited ability of stores to make enough money to survive. I don't get it dickies always run small. People writing reviews like you have never worn them ! If this is your first time buying them and no has told you here you go . Dickies pant sizing is a little weird and they run a little small, all you need to do is buy them a size up! There you go. If you have worn them before you all need to get a life and stop complaining? The only pants I wear are 874 work pants . I will die on that hill and fight anyone that that says anything bad about them! The quality may have a little slipped, but show me a product that has not. They have not changed that much in over a hundred years! They have crazy cool colors and they are so affordable. You all are crazy for even trying to complain about the best pants EVER!
These fit a lot like dead stock vintage- they will stretch a bit if you gain weight. I have a white pair I wore about three times that I purchased with some olive pairs which I wear all the time. They all fit the same when new; but the white ones no longer fit because I gradually gained weight. For factory work they're great especially for the price. lightweight in the summer, dry fast in wet conditions, don't fade much. During sanitation work they don't easily bleach stain (diluted) after they get washed and worn a lot. burns tend to melt and not fray. Small abrasions fray slower than denim or canvas. I noticed that dog hair don't stick like other poly blend pants even other Dickies and my Blair uniform pants which cost 3x as much and worn by professional canine ... MoreThese fit a lot like dead stock vintage- they will stretch a bit if you gain weight. Dickies, Red Kap and any other work clothes tend to need to go up a size when ordering. Many reviews state the customers are upset about the size being small. I have been a diesel mechanic for 25 years. I learned that 25 years ago. I buy 10/ year. I dont think someone's lack of knowledge about a product is cause for a negative review. I like Dickies and RedKap. This is my first time going with flex. I will update review once I have seen how they hold up to my destructive life in the shop. Please leave reviews for how well it resisted stains, tears, burns, comfort, style, and anything else to do with the product. Please advise others to go one size higher. That is normal in the industry. We have 20 people who have never had Dickies and will never do any work ... MoreDickies, Red Kap and any other work clothes tend to need to go up a size when ordering.
