Well what a lot of people are saying is true these coveralls run long. But! I ordered 42 30 and received like other people said super long like 34 length, after two washing and two dryings these coveralls fit almost perfect. What I mean by almost, is their just a tad bit long which is good because I don't like wearing high water pants. No joke these coveralls shrunk a lot. Am ok with how they turned out. My wife was ready to hem the bottoms up and I said lets wash them a few times first. After the second wash and dry we were shock how they shrunk.

I just got them and have not worn them much but a few things come up right away. The construction feels durable and yet comfortable. For the size I have (30 x 32) the legs could be a little bit skinnier so that it is not so loose.The main issue I have is with the pockets. The tool pocket on the right leg unfortunately is not wide enough for my cell phone to fit. On my Carhartts fit my phone perfectly. The chest has two pockets that are nicely placed, however, the are not deep enough to hold my cell phone and allow the snap button to close. Considering that at work and play, a cell phone is probably the most commonly used tool, I would recommend making some minor changes to this design to allow for a touch screen cell phone to fit in all available pockets.

HEADS UP: for slimmer framed individuals I would caution you from getting your usual Jean inseam, they are definitely bigger by 2-4 inches than what you’re used too. Absolutely love these Overalls! I’ve wanted to get a pair for years now and never followed through with getting a pair. After all the time I just got them and they are everything I’ve wanted from a pair! They fit larger than normal jeans but that’s exactly what a pair of overalls should be sized for. This is a work wear clothing item so it’s made for that exact purpose. You’ll be able to do your full range of movements necessary for physical labor. Will definitely be buying another pair!!!

Been heavily on the fence about buying overalls for a while, I then got a sale pair of dickies straight legs, that are awesome. So I took the plunge, and ordered 40 waist with the short. So first off, I wear a 38x30. I should have ordered 2 sizes up, because I can only wear the bottom side buttons, otherwise they’re snug on the tummy. Someone on the reviews said that the short length is like a 30. And I’m telling you it’s more like a 32. Also, these are made with zero taper, so these guys baggy and big. They’re much more of a boot cut.Material wise these are decently thick, they’re good fabric and comfy. They have a good amount of length for the suspenders.Good work overalls, not the best styling overalls. Decent is the only way I can truly describe them.
I got two pairs of bib coveralls from Dickies delivered in May. The denim blue pair reminds me of my railroad days, and those cool bell bottoms complete them so nicely.The painter whites, I use in the garden when it's really hot on the Canadian Prairie.Two home runs Dickies. Thanks for not just making great bib coveralls, but keeping the price point reasonable. The free shipping and the return shipping labels, are such a great service, just in case you ordered them too long,vor too tight.I recommend both pairs. The blue bibs, and the white painter bib.
These bibs are seconds. The inseam run straight inside and outside on the left leg.The right leg inseam runs to the front of my foot and behind my leg to my heel.So i have a double white thread running from the hip to my toe instead to my ankle.Ha ha ha I look funny.🤷🏻♂️🧐I have bought many pair of Dickies bib overhauls with great results. But this takes the cake. Who’s idea was it to sell seconds to online buyers. I hope that is not the case.I knew i will have to get them taken up to my 29 inseam length. I have washed them in an attempt to shrink before inseam is changed. I cant say how disgusted I am.I’ll also bet this review will never see the light of day on your site.I would like to exchange both pair of them for a higher quality two pair bib overhauls.
I am not as happy with these as I had hoped. With severe shoulder osteoarthritis and replacement surgery soon, I thought these would be easy to put on and off. Far from that, they are actually harder than plain suspenders on jeans. Additionally, I have two other specific complaints. 1.) They're long long long. All my jeans are 30 inch inseam and fit appropriately. These 30 inchers are easily 3-4 inches too long. 2.) The adjustment clips bunch up the material and fail to keep the suspenders flat rendering them hard to adjust. Well, maybe 3.) The adjustment clips end up being way behind my shoulders, i.e., they are almost over my shoulder blades. So I am a larger man, I also have another style of Dickies overalls I've worn for years.So no one was as surprised as I when I put these on after using the fitment guide.I'm not convinced the designer has actually seen a human being before.These are basically a huge tube of denim. There is absolutely no shape or style to them.Not only were the legs large enough to fit another person in with me, but they were long too.Honestly, you'd have to try for something to fit this badly.They where comfy though.
The bib pockets may have received recent designer attention as my overalls have two separate pockets, both hold a cell phone amply. I originally ordered a men's 30"X30" but after contacting a local vendor and searching a Q&A blog, I returned for a 32"X30" pair. I wash in warm/hot water and dry high heat. I wanted a loose fit after an expected 6-10% shrinkage. Fabulous, soft, 100% cotton fabric and classic Dickies construction. I am 73 years old--these are my first pair of overalls! Never say never and go with reliable Dickies!
I am so disappointed how most all bib overalls these days don't even have a pencil/pen slot. Dickies does! I also am very pleased with the shoulder strap fasteners that snap over the bib button to hold them up. These click with a positive grip that won't come undone in daily body motions/movements like several other "tongue-through-slot" fastener designs do.Also, the positioning of the snap buttons on the bib are placed high on the very top-most, upper edge of the bib front so there is no unsupported fabric to fold over against your chest behind the button fasteners; everything stands up without flopping over.Also, if you carry a railroad pocket watch, there are accommodations for that, as well.
