I love the carpenter jeans with the double side pocket very much. I used to be able to get the double knee with 2 side pockets but it isnt made any longer, only one larger "phone" pocket. I guess they just dont get double knees are for workers, not fashion AND, the pocket is to far back, you sit on it. I also liked that I used to be able to get heavier duty carp. jeans, more threads per inch, but no longer available. But, I like the double side pocket size more than any other brand

The carpenter pants I bought must have been pulled out of the reject pile. Doesn't anyone check for quality? The areas above the front pockets were not constructed properly. The material was sewn on crocked or too much was used. It is bulging and crooked. Also, there is so much excess material in the thighs, I could probably fit both of my legs into one pant leg. These pants were made terrible. I am so disappointed. I don't dare risk purchasing from your company again.

They fit a little bigger in the waist than the dickies cargo pants I recently purchased. I ordered a size 23 pair of jeans, but because they have a more straight fit, they feel wider up top, and as a result you will probably need to downsize an inch or two if you want a similar waist fit. (as compared to other dickies pants)Functionally, they are awesome for me, (I actually prefer them baggier for skateboarding) They are super durable and comfortable, rare for a pair of jeans, much less heavyweight ones at that. 9/10 satisfaction.

Used to get a different brand for years. They recently changed their material to something that looked very cheap and thin. I have a hard time finding jeans in my size. Saw these and ordered a pair to try. Very comfortable and seem durable. Time will tell. Definitely not going back to the other brand. As long as these don't change like everything else, I won't have be looking anymore.
Dickie's is my first choice (ONLY choice, to be frank) for jeans. I buy carpenter jeans because the extra pockets on the right leg are useful, especially to slip in a cell phone and a pocket knife. These trousers are both sturdy and a real value. The denim ones are a great fit for my body type and activity level and are super comfortable, and the canvas duck ones (I like the extra colors) wear like iron. I just bought three more pairs. My 97-years-old mother-in-law says they look great, and my little cat likes them, too, and regularly sharpens his claws on my trouser legs. They are that tough!
Don’t get me wrong, these are good jeans. Just not the model I wanted. I had an old pair give up the ghost and was going out of town for a 2 week trip, so ordered the fast delivery so I’d have them. They were late and I didn’t get them until I got back. My old pair were ordinary jeans, no special pockets or heavy weight. What I got. Was heavy weight carpenter jeans. I searched for the model number of the old jeans. Apparently, the model number was switched.
I've been wearing Dickie Carpenter Jeans for some time now, probably about 30 years and I love them! They're a great fit, they're extremely well manufactured, I will generally wear them until they fall apart! I wish there were a few more variations in color, but at the end of the day they do exactly what they're supposed to do and thats work well and function! On top of that all they are always affordable they come in such a variety of sizes the perfect we're just about anyone looking for a good dependable brand and style of Jeans!
I bought several pairs of the Carpenter Jeans and Denims last 25FEB2020 as always to replace my old trusty ones that have since been faded and tattered. I have been a loyal customer of the Dickies Brand since 2005 and I will alway prefer the Carpenter Jeans and Denims due to its really convenient tool pockets on its right leg pant. These are very useful for me to carry my cellphone, pens, calculator, and a small straight edge for my job as an Auditor. As I have mentioned earlier in this review, I bought my Relaxed Fit Carpenter Jeans RNB #1993 on said date and I soon as I received those pants, I took them to the Laundromat to wash all the new Dickies Pants I had just received in the mail. veryon of thos pants came out of the drier perfect with all its parts intacked ... MoreI bought several pairs of the Carpenter Jeans and Denims last 25FEB2020 as always to replace my old trusty ones that have since been faded and tattered. I have NEVER had any pair of pants break its zipper while I dry them in the drier. They mught get a litle faded and wrinkled but nothing I think would cause me to discard any pair. Please, Dickies, if you are reading this, please let me know what option I have. Ufortunately, I do not have the original packing and product tags anymore because I got rid of those when I washed my pants. I hope to hear from you real soon because I know you have my contact information in your files. Thanks and more quality control in the future please!!!
I purchased these carpenter jeans under the impression they were your old red tab carpenter jeans with tapered legs. I loved those jeans! Apparently you quit making those jeans and only offer the straight leg carpenter jeans that have a blue or black tag on the rear pocket. You need to update your photo then! The photo of the jeans I ordered were that of the old red jeans. That is the only reason I ordered these. I do not like the ones I ordered! Too baggy and I hate straight legs! Did not feel like going thru the trouble of returning them. They're going either in the trash can or to GOODWILL! I'm done with Dickies!
The denim is a good weight. I was pleased at how quickly it came. This might sound a little odd but the fly is longer than most companies and the zipper is good and strong. Often companies cheap out on that feature because I suspect that per unit zippers are relatively expensive. I have two things I would wish different one is for the watch pocket to be a little broader. I carry an AAA flashlight and unlike the other Dickies pants I have it won’t lie flat in the pocket making me a little nervous about it working its way out. The second is that the pocket material is a bit light for work jeans. I really like the pocket down the right leg. A glasses case fits perfectly.
