These socks used to be great. I’m a farmer and work outside through the summer in rubber boots. The old fiber blend wicked away moisture, were comfortable to wear all day, fit well, and felt supportive and thick without being too thick. The new fiber blend doesn’t wick away moisture at all and actually caused the skin to breakdown on my feet, the fit is way too tight (and I’m a size 6 shoe), and they’re thin. Maybe these are ok to wear for fashion, but I would not recommend these for workwear.

Bought 2 6 packs of these in different colors. Shipping was fast and efficient. The socks are great quality! It also averaged out to 2.50 per sock, can’t beat that! Especially with the quality you’re getting! Highly recommend. Will be buying again when I need some more!

I’ve been wearing Dickies socks for a very long time. I am super geeked to have discovered their mid-crew sock. It is the perfect length between quarter crew (ankle) & full crew. Perfect for wearing with work boots in the summer. My new favorite sock, highly recommended.I ordered them from the Dickies website because they were not available in any stores locally or from other online retailers.
Not As Good As The Older Socks. The other Moisture Control socks are a little thicker and keeps my feet dry. I decided to try these, and they fit perfectly, just a tad thinner than I'm used to. I work in the paint shop at a car manufacturer, so I have to walk in the booth every hour to check the cars coming out of the oven. I noticed the difference right away. My feet are sweatiest with these than the older socks. The colors and fit are great, but the fabric is not up to par. Maybe if you work in a less humid environment, these would work for you.
I bought these to replace other Dickies socks I had. The last ones had a good weight to them and were super comfortable. I didn’t realize these socks were 96% polyester. I’m a bit disappointed in myself for ordering them. They kinda feel like socks you would get at the dollar store for a way bigger price tag. Way thinner than the last ones I had.
I bought these several years ago, when they were still cotton blend, and they were great. When I bought a new set this year they look the same at first glance, but they are made very differently. They are no longer cotton-blend, which I could live with, but they are also cut totally differently - the ankle portion is longer and a lot narrower, with less stretch, so they are very tight around the ankle/calf. Compression in the foot area can be nice but the tight, narrow calves are very uncomfortable over the course of the day. And they are less padded. I suspect they just switched to making them overseas, where they are cut assuming a much smaller, slimmer woman than is likely to buy work socks in the U.S.
The six-pack of women's crew socks arrived quickly. I read and followed the enclosed instructions and washed them before the first use. I found the socks soft and warm yet stretchy, I found them to fit well, they aren't too long. For me, though, after a day's walking, the tops are a little bit too tight and I have to roll them down to be comfortable.
I had decided not to buy these after seeing someone's photo of how wide and bulky the toes are. Then they were marked down, and at under $2 a pair I decided I had nothing to lose. I find them very comfortable and the toes aren't bulky at all. The knit-in arch support feels great. The top elastic is not too tight and my calves are not exactly thin. In the winter I wear Crocs clogs in the house all day long, and if anything is going to get sweaty, plastic shoes will; however the socks and my feet stay sweat-free, just as advertised. These socks cradle my feet without any extra bulk. My feet stay warm in them. I have had to replace a lot of socks in the past because my heels wear through; I hope these will hold up better.
