Honestly, this being the âlastâ made me not want to see it at first. I wanted the nostalgia to continue after tri, and I will say, I wasnât disappointed. Graphically, Digimon has just gotten better. The story did a nice job of wrapping the adult life factors up with some humor for older fans!

This movie had me in tears by the end, but I definitely loved everything about it. To close the story the animation looks beautiful, it had the "butterfly" Japanese song from Tri over the English Digimon song which I truly enjoyed. The story focuses mainly on Tai and Matt and their digimon, which I'm okay with that. It has comedy, drama, action, and a great finale. I did have some ideas for a different ending, but I'm not complaining... after 20 years the original story comes to a close.

I bought the blu-ray of this film since the initial film screening premieres were cancelled in 2020 and I really wanted to watch this with my best friend since we grew up with Digimon. For anyone who's watched the first season of the Digimon anime series, this film is for you. The details, story and action in this film was so well done and it definitely gave us the feels. I highly recommend buying/watching it!

If you're a diehard digimon fan and watched the entire season one, then this will make you cry. Watching the original digidestine once more just feels like you've grown together with them and fought all those battles together. This movie was great and a beautiful way to end their chapter, you won't be disappointed.
Another fun adventure with the Digi-destined. My son and I have been fans since the days of Fox Kids and Digimon first hit the airways here in the States. If you have been fans since back in the day or you would just like to see a great anime this is it. For us it is like being with old friends once again. If you are new to Digimon you will soon see what I mean after watching this. We loved it.
This movie franchise is awesome. I love the original characters of Digimon. This final film of this saga ended well. Both DVD and Blu-Ray combo for a great price.
This movie will hit you in the feels! If you are a digimon lover and have followed for years...this is a must watch. It was fun going back and re-living the old school original team in a 2020 era. The movie is a fun farewell to our beloved characters so do yourself a favor and buy it!
Action-Packed!!! It definitely tugs on the heart strings especially if youâve been a long time fan. This is really a Tai/Agumon and Matt/Gabumon story, if youâre expecting to see more of the other Digidestined, They have a smaller role in this movie. Glad we got some scenes with the Adventure02 cast. Overall a Great Watch!
Has some nostalgia, but idk about anyone else felt there is some dream/hope crushing aspect to the conclusion. Let alone it retconning the ending of Adventure 02. I wish they could have got as much of the original cast members to reprise their roles if this is the final movie (atleast for this continuation). The new digivolution forms were kinda meh, I get where they were going but looked ugly. Also wish the 02 Digidestined got some more screen time/got to use their DNA Digivolutions.
The Digimon shows and movies have always had a lot of story, some presented well and others were misses. This movie really ends the series involving the original characters with a bow and is as sad as Avengers Endgame with the tear-jerking scenes. The one thing that may disappoint some fans, is the story almost exclusively centers on Tai and Matt. They give nice nods to the other characters and even bring in some old favorites, but are negligible. I think the choice works however and the story is far more precise and clear this time around working with less protagonists. Enjoy!
