Do you love digimon? Then you should be playing this game, not reading this review. The game is even great for people who are just familiar with the series. Interesting storyline, jrpg style graphics. Turned based battle, will kind of feel like you're playing pokemon. But altogether it's a fun game. Oh also the audio is in japanese, but there's English subtitles. Not sure if that'll change with future updates...

Do you like games like Pokemon but with an actual cool story? If yes, this is for you. Just... endure a few stupid dialogues. And the kinda bad porting on PC (You can't use your mouse, just keyboard. But it's ok, camera usually is fixed so it's not a big problem.).The "collect all monsters" part it's actually pretty awesome, bc some digimon have really specific requirements to obtain, so it's cool to try and complete the "Digidex". The story is reaaaally cool, especially if you are a fan of the saga.

The game is great! The story was really well made and there is a lot of things to do inside the game. The fighting animation is great. I would recommend it to those that likes Digimon and wants roleplay as one of the main characters like in the anime. Game gets more grindy as it goes on in order to digivolve the digimon so I would discourage anyone who does not like grind to stay away from this game unless you are a big fan of this series.

A Fulfilling Modern Day Digimon RPG Game

Definitely a really fun Digimon title- and between PS4 and Switch I'd say hands down since you'll sometimes want to grind playing on the go with a mobile option is perfect. Sitting in bed and going through a dungeon just can't be beat. There are some translation errors and confusing bits, but hey, that's why we have Google these days. Nothing major impacting gameplay. Let's hope for more Digimon title on the Nintendo Switch! Brings back memories of Digimon Dusk and Dawn for the DS...

Amazing Game!!!

I have played Pokmon for ever. This is the first Digimon game I have played. The graphics are amazing. The story is great. Its better than any Pokmon game Ive ever played. Im addicted to the game.

Great digimon game

I played the first cybersluth and was in love. This is a perfect sequel everything I loved from the first game. But with more digimon tons of missions, new battle mode. Can dress up the digimon, A friend system over all a great game and what a sequel should be.

It is a good game.

It's alright. The story mode can get real fetch quest heavy at the time, but the game is good if you can get through it for the most part. The best part is the digimon evolution tree and the accessibility for changing stats and adjusting specs. Plus, you don't have to pay for you digimon to follow you around "cough pokemon cough". This game can easily give you min 100 hours close to 250 if you do a double playthrough with the other story mode + have some friends to battle with. It is a well made game/

Overal just well made RPG.

One of the best games I've ever played. The story is great, the side quests are interesting, its not overly grindy unless you really want Megas/fusions/alternates early. Also has a good reasons replay with new game+. I haven't had this much fun with a game for a while.

Very fun with some drawbacks

Fun game. Character models are pretty good (for the most part). Most of the dungeons are boring and there are some shallow fetch quests. However, the story is solid and surprisingly funny. The digivolution mechanics are fun and I found it enjoyable to try and raise every digimon while playing! Highly recommend for fans of digimon.
