The box fan is feather-light and almost completely plastic. Although the fan does move the air around, there is a loud and persistent bass drone that comes from the fan housing, whilest in operation, and it is pretty unpleasant.The fan may be OK in a commercial / noisy environment, but really poorly suited to a quiet living room. Avoid this product if your can, there are so many better options out there.

Im very happy with this fan. It is a decent size allowing for a wider flow of air. The 3 speeds allows for noticeable changes in wind speed and the dial is on top of the fan so its super easy to adjust. The fan is a breeze to assemble: just screen in the 2 feet and you're good to go. Its very light weight and it has a handle on the top so its very easy and convenient to move if you so wish. Its not quiet: I've never had a fan that is to be honest but I'm not bothered by the noise, at all, and i use it for sleeping. If you absolutely need quiet whether you'll use it in a bedroom or not then i would recommend going into a store to check it out first. But for me, I've no complaints whatsoever, its been a great purchase
Poor, unbalanced and of the 2 I bought neither works. Absolute JUNK. DO NOT BUY. One failed after only 4 nights running. I returned and got another. It failed the next month along with the 2nd fan.
Strong airflow even on lowest settings.Good and easy controls.But very loud not really suitable for bedroom unless you need a lot of white noise to sleep.
Very noisy, control not very secure and cheap.Held together with cable ties, can see wiring inside unit. Very short cord yet says not to use an extension cord!
has been running constantly for 2 weeks now, moves plenty of air on low had an identical one before this, ran it constantly for a year or two
