I was initially worried that the Dimplex was more expensive than previous kitchen fans I bought. However, it really did circulate air in a smooth and efficient way. I was able to direct the air towards a window, acting rather like an exhaust fan. It's also very quiet. A good buy.

This air circulator has been essential during hot weather. We only have one split system air con in our living room but place the air circulator in the opening between the living room and our bedroom doorway to push the cool air in. Really effective and even great to use without aircon! Pointed at the wall in our room creates a relaxing, cooling breeze.

It has amazing circulation, and it's quite.The only thing that would give it the extra 5 stars, is it was able to do a 180 span, as it does 360.Luv it heaps thxI highly recommended this product to a number of friends an sadly its discontinued. Hopfully it does come back
Not quite sure how this differs from a fan, as there is a definite gust coming straight from the spinning blade, and the cooling effect is lessened at other angles (contrary to how an air circulator is apparently supposed to work). Definitely a worthwhile purchase for the 3x4m room I predominantly use it in. Shame it doesn't have more speed settings. It's definitely quieter than a fan on the low setting (which I typically use, more than adequate), but the high setting is a bit loud. I'm giving it a 4 rating but it's definitely a good cooling option for the price, so long as you're within a few meters of it, and leave it running for extended periods. Compact fan that sits nicely in my study on the desk or on my bedside table. Attractive design offering oscillating or direct air control. Strong airflow and power. Not too noisy.
Bought this fan to help circulate airflow and also push our air-conditioning into the bedrooms from the living area. It works really well for this purpose. It is a little noisy on the higher setting so we keep it on low and I like how you can tilt the fan head to push air up, down and around.
Theres nothing overly fancy about this fan - I think thats why I like it so much. It just circulates air with a couple of options, fast and slow - for fixed or moving. Its a little noisy but I dont mind that when I am sleeping. It circulates the air well in my large bedroom, through to my walk in robes and bathroom. Love it. And great price.
We brought one after comparing this with the vornado in store and seemed similar with airflow. Its quite loud and we now purchased a portable aircon which is the same decibles as this fan when both on high (measured on phone app). This air circulator does rotate on the base but it goes all the way round rather than like a tradition fan that rotates back and forth which I would prefer as it takes quite a while to go all the way round and I don't know if it circulates air much better than a fan.
Good, strong airflow. Nice and compact design. Cannot fault it. It works really well, but I wish I had bought the next model, up in price though.
